On November 15 2022 the offender, Darrell Thomas, 38, of Cochranville was in custody in the holding cell area of the Oxford District Court when he was allowed to use the phone to secure funds for a private attorney.  It was at this time that Thomas made 8 phone calls to the victim while she was at Oxford District Court for the hearing.  An Oxford Officer was with the victim when she received the calls. Additional criminal charges were filed on Thomas due to the contact with the victim. 

On January 3, 2023 a preliminary hearing was held at Oxford District Court where the charge of intimidating witnesses was dismissed.  Both harassment charges have been held to the Court of Common Pleas.
