On August 21, 2026 at 10:17 pm, the Oxford Police Department received a report of a PFA violation.  The victim states that on August 20, 2026, Max Shover, 35, of Oxford, violated a court order by making contact with her during a child custody exchange.  This incident was also confirmed by Shover, who, on August 20, 2026, requested the Police to check on the victim, who he believed to be under the influence of alcohol after she refused to take a breath test.  The victim had left the area prior to the arrival of Officers. 

A warrant was issued for Shover's arrest, and on August 29, 2026, he was taken into custody.  Shover was transported to the Oxford Police for processing before being turned over to Constables for transport to Chester County Prison.  Shover was arraigned and released after posting a $10,000 / 10% bail.  A PFA violation hearing is scheduled for September 18, 2026 at the Court of Common Pleas.
