On February 5, 2024 at 8:03 pm the Oxford Police were dispatched to a one vehicle accident in the 600 Blk Market Street.  Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the occupants of the vehicle, 3 adults and a small child.  After interviewing the occupants and multiple witnesses, it was determined that a backpack had been removed from the vehicle prior to the arrival of Police. With the assistance of the witnesses, Officers were able to locate the item in the driveway of a nearby home.  Vehicle occupants Llenifer Ayllon, 24, of West Grove and Robert Jimenez, 24, of Toughkenamon were placed into custody as they were observed attempting to conceal items from the backpack, which included a loaded firearm. A search incident to arrest of the suspects and the backpack yielded a variety of narcotics and contraband. Both subjects were transported to the Oxford Police where they were interviewed and processed before being transported by Constables to Chester County Prison.

Ayllon and Jimenez were both arraigned and failed to post a $50,000 and $25,000 cash bail, respectively.  A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for both subjects for February, 13, 2024 at the Oxford District Court.
