On April 29, 2022 the OPD was dispatched to the 400 Blk Market Street for a domestic disturbance. The victim stated that the defendant, Aftab Gul, 29, of Oxford, had struck her and knocked her to the ground. The victim did have injuries that were consistent with her statement of the events.  Further investigation determined that the victim had an active Protection From Abuse Order from New York that prohibited GUL from having any contact with her.  GUL was arrested and transported to Chester County Prison to await a preliminary hearing at Oxford District Court and a PFA violation hearing in New York.
