On 04/22/2023, the North Coventry Township Police Department held it's first ever fishing rodeo. To say the day was a success is only proven in all the smiles and laughs heard throughout the event. Children 15 and under were invited to come spend the morning fishing with Officers from North Coventry Township Police Department. Kenilworth Pond was stocked with 500 trout from Stony Creek Anglers and Trout Nursery. During the event several special guest came to assist including Honorable Judge Hipple, Township Supervisor Carrie Hipple, Fire Marshall Ron Comtois, PA, Waterways Conservation Officers, North Coventry Parks and Rec's representatives, Dicks Sporting Goods and many more. Through generous donations from Walmart, Patriot Dealerships and Dicks Sporting Goods, the event was not only able to happen but also over 20 free raffles were able to be raffled off to very happy children! If you didn't make this years event, please make sure you keep an eye out for our 2nd annual Fishing Rodeo to be announced at a later date! Again thank you for all who came out and helped make this event a memorable one.
