Downingtown Police, Downingtown Fire & EMS, Downingtown Public Works, and the Chester County Department of Emergency Services received tremendous support from some of our local businesses as we managed the Annual Good Neighbor Day in Downingtown on July 4th. This event lasted nearly 15 hours and ended with a great fireworks show despite the looming storms. A solid public safety platform was needed to keep our residents and guests safe so they could enjoy a great day of special activities, including the Run for Life, Carnival, and Fireworks Display. Our partnerships during special events like Good Neighbor Day are truly invaluable.
