A DPD officer was performing directed patrols of businesses during overnight hours on Thursday, May 2nd, at about 2:30 a.m. While patrolling the D'Ambrosio Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM dealership (East Lancaster Avenue - East Caln Township), he observed a light blue BMW M2 or M4 type vehicle, with a temporary unknown registration, drive through the lot. The two occupants of the sedan were wearing hoods and face masks inside their vehicle, and upon seeing the officer, they fled the parking lot at a high speed. DPD notified area police agencies, but they could not locate the car. Through investigation and communications with area law enforcement, it was determined that the temporary tag was from Maryland, T1083572. When checked, this tag should have been on a 2011 Lexus LX, which it was not. While thwarted, DPD is very interested in identifying this vehicle and its occupants.
