 PRESS RELEASE

August 19, 2026 Cambria County District Attorney, Jessica F. Aurandt, releases the following: 

On August 18, 2026, members of the Cambria County Drug Task Force and the Cambria County Sheriff’s Office observed Luke Boring (40 years-old) at a property on Lunen Street, Johnstown, Cambria County. Boring had an active arrest warrant out of the Cambria County Sheriff’s Office and was promptly taken into custody by law enforcement. A search incident to arrest of Boring revealed that he was in possession of approximately 407 grams of methamphetamine (street value of $20,350), 1 gram of cocaine (street value of $100), a digital scale, and drug packaging material (photo attached). Boring was subsequently transported to the Cambria County Prison on his arrest warrant. Charges for the seized contraband are forthcoming. 

This investigation was conducted with the cooperation of the Cambria County Detective Bureau, Cambria County Sheriff’s Office, Richland Township Police Department, Cambria County District Attorney’s Office, Johnstown Police Department, FBI Safe Streets Task Force, and PA Office of Attorney General BNI.
