The Warrington Township Police Department was proud to participate in the Chick-fil-A Warrington Crossing Summer Fun Festival on Thursday evening, and what a night it was. With beautiful weather, a tremendous community turnout, and countless smiles throughout the event, it was a perfect example of what makes our community so special.

Representing the department were Chief Daniel J. Friel, Lieutenant Glen Gottenberg, Corporal John Blanchard and K9 Jolie, Officer Tim Stinger, along with Motor Officers Tim Rihl and Nate Coia. Officers enjoyed meeting residents, answering questions, taking photos, and connecting with families in a relaxed and fun environment.

The event featured entertainment, games, community organizations, raffle prizes benefiting the Warminster Food Bank, and even a special appearance by the Phillie Phanatic. While there is no official report on who stole the show, witnesses say it may have come down to a close competition between the Phanatic and K9 Jolie. Fortunately, both managed to avoid any turf disputes and were on their best behavior throughout the evening.

We would like to thank Chick-fil-A Warrington Crossing, all participating organizations, and everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. Community events like these provide a wonderful opportunity to strengthen relationships and create lasting memories.
