On July 8, 2026, A Warrington officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle with a bent license plate that obscured all but the first three characters.
During the stop, officers observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle, including copper mesh pads commonly used to ingest narcotics. As officers requested the driver's information, 45-year-old Ashley Tradewell of Doylestown was seen moving items around the vehicle in an apparent attempt to conceal the paraphernalia. Officers also observed tin foil and glassine baggies in the rear seat.
A records check revealed that the rear passenger 42-year-old Louise Gillis of Philadelphia had an active Montgomery County warrant, and a search incident to her arrest uncovered a glass pipe with suspected narcotics residue.
A records check revealed Tradewell also had an active warrant from Bucks County Probation. Gillis was released to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, while Tradewell was transported to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
