Rider’s Traffic Troubles Turn into Ride in the Back of a Police Car
On August 5, 2026, Warrington Police stopped a motorcycle traveling southbound on Easton Road in the area of County Line Road after an officer observed the motorcycle operating without a license plate and weaving between the left and right lanes while passing other vehicles.
The operator was identified as 38-year-old Daniel Johnathan Ciammetti of Philadelphia. A records check revealed Ciammetti’s driver’s license was suspended due to a prior DUI. Ciammetti was unable to provide registration, insurance or proof of ownership regarding the motorcycle.
During the investigation, officers observed signs that Ciammetti had recently used drugs.
Police recovered 14 suspected Clonazepam pills, a large amount of U.S. currency, and a container containing nine individual baggies with white residue suspected to be Fentanyl.
Ciammetti was placed under arrest and transported to the Warrington Police Department, where he was processed and subsequently released.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
