Period 10/31/22 to 11/13/2022

WT-22-08260 Burglary Arrest         

On 11/7/2022 at 1900hrs Police responded to the 200 block of Tally Ho Drive for the report of a possible burglary that occurred while the residence were not at home.  Responding officers searched the residence for any suspect(s) who might still be inside with negative results.  While officers were collecting evidence and getting ready to clear the scene, Warrington PD responded to an incident for a suspicious subject not far from Tally Ho Drive in their jurisdiction.  The male stopped in Warrington was found to be in possession of stolen items, some of which matched the description of items taken earlier that evening from the home in Warminster.  Warminster Officers responded to Warrington PDs location to further investigate. The 29 year old male from Spring City PA was charged with the burglary and related offenses. 

WT-22-08137 Access Device Fraud

After completing an investigation Police filed charges on a 19 year old male from Warminster for Access Device Fraud and Identity theft.  The 19 year old is accused of taking another person’s credit card and using it without permission.   

WT-22-13348 Retail Theft Arrest    

On 11/5/2022 Police responded to the Walmart Store for the report of a retail theft.  Officers completed their investigation and charged a 37 year old male from Southampton PA with Felony Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.

WT-22-13350 Driving Under the Influence Arrest

On 11/6/2022 at approximately 0101hrs, Police stopped a vehicle for traffic violation(s) in the area of York Road and Street Road.  After investigating further, the operator, a 37  year old male from Southampton was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. 

WT-22-11053 Simple Assault Arrest

After Completing an investigation Police charged a 57 year old Male from Philadelphia with Simple Assault and related offenses after investigating an altercation that took place in the area of the 700 block of Falcon Circle. 

WT-22-11654 Drug Possession Arrest      

Police charged a 17 year old male from Warminster with possession of drugs after responding to an incident at the high school and completing an investigation.  

WT-22-05303 Theft Arrest

Police completed an investigation of several fraudulent transactions by an employee at a local retail store. The 35 year old male from Philadelphia was charged with the thefts and related offenses. 

WT-22-12642 Protection from Abuse Order Violation     

On 11/10/2022 Police received a call regarding a violation of a court ordered Protection from Abuse order.  After investigation a 26 year old male from Warminster was charged with the violation of said order. 

WT-22-13692 and WT-22-13686 Catalytic Converter Theft Investigation

Police responded on 11/13/2022 to a local apartment/condo complex located on the 600 block of Street Road for the report of at least two vehicles that had catalytic converters stolen from them recently while parked in different areas of the complex.  Police are investigating the incidents.

WT-22-13673 Reported Stolen Motor Scooter Investigation

At 0130hrs on 11/13/2022 Police took a report of a stolen motor scooter from the parking lot of Walmart located in the 100 block of E. Street Road.  The theft is said to have occurred sometime in the evening hours of 11/12/2022 while it was parked in the lot.  The incident is under investigation.

****As many residents are aware a drug collection box is located at the Police Department (401 Gibson Ave, Warminster PA) for the convenience of township residents.  This drop box allows residents to safely and securely dispose of old prescription and over the counter medications.  The box is located in our 24 hour Police Lobby.  Residence should read the warning label on the front of the drop box to ensure they are only leaving approved items. These items are collected and then properly disposed of by Police.
