Warminster Township Police Dept -Arrests and Notable Incidents Blotter: June

WT-26-05918 - Officers were dispatched to Five Ponds Golf Club for a report of an intoxicated male on the putting range. The male asked for a tee time and was told there was nothing available due to two outings that day. The male then proceeded to the bar to purchase alcohol and was disruptive when he was refused service. The male threatened Officers with bodily harm. The male called an Uber to take him home. When the Uber arrived, they refused to take him due to his belligerent behavior. The Officers and Golf Course personnel tried to calm the male down. Another Uber was called, and the male left the area. The 39-year-old male turned himself in. He was processed and transported to District Court and was arraigned before Judge O'Neill, and bail was set at $50,000 unsecured. The male was charged with Terroristic Threats, Disorderly Conduct, Harassment, and Public Drunkenness. The male is no longer allowed at Five Ponds Golf Club.

WT-26-06106 - On routine patrol, an Officer was traveling on Davisville Road at Hostman, and the Officer saw a vehicle that was entered into NCIC. The owner of the vehicle had a warrant for his arrest for Vehicle Theft. The vehicle stopped at a residence, and the Officer advised the 23-year-old male of the warrant and took the male into custody. The warrant is from the Clifton Police Department in New Jersey. Clifton Police advised that the warrant was still active with extradition to New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The male was charged with Arrest Prior to Requisition because he chose to remain in Pennsylvania to avoid the warrant. The male was arraigned before Judge Jonas for 10% of $75,000.00. The male was transported to Bucks County Prison.

WT-26-06068 - The Animal Control Officer was dispatched to Chestnut & Spruce for a report of a found dog. The Animal Control Officer recognized the dog from two previous occasions. The dog was lodged in the Township kennels, and the Owner was notified. The 38-year-old female dog owner was issued a Non-Traffic Citation for Confinement of Dog.

WT-26-05935 & WT-26-05936 - Officers were dispatched in the area of Kirk Road for a well-being check. The caller wanted a check on his four-year-old daughter because he had not spoken to her in a few days. The caller's mother advised that she has full custody of the caller's daughter. She also advised she has a Protection from Abuse order against her son. The 24-year-old male was sending threatening text messages to her, which is a violation of the Protection From Abuse Order. A warrant was issued for his arrest. The male turned himself in and was arraigned before Judge O'Neill. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000.

WT-26-06601 - Officers were dispatched to Giant for an unwanted person. The 46-year-old male made inappropriate comments to the Manager of the store and refused to leave. The male was told to leave and was not on scene when Police arrived. The Officers were then sent to Burger King for an unknown problem.  The male from Giant was at Burger King and drinking alcohol inside the restaurant. The male agreed to a Breathalyzer test, which read .223%; the male was cited for Public Drunkenness that occurred at Giant. The male was advised not to return to Giant.

WT-26-06076 - The Animal Control Officer was dispatched to Police Headquarters for a report of a loose dog in the parking lot. The dog was recognized by the Animal Control Officer, and the owner was called. The 39-year-old dog owner will be cited for Confinement of Dog.

WT-26-06688 - While on routine patrol, an Officer was approached by a male stating that a female was lying in the driveway of his girlfriend's property and possibly intoxicated. When the officer arrived at the property on West Street Road, they observed the female climbing a tree. The female advised that she didn't have any identification with her because she works for the CIA and her identification is confidential. The Officers took her into custody and transported her to headquarters. Upon determining her identity, she was processed and transported to her residence in Abington. The 48-year-old female will be charged with Loitering and Prowling, False ID, and Public Drunkenness.

WT-26-06642 - On routine patrol, an Officer noticed a vehicle with no taillights on. The Officer conducted a traffic stop and asked the driver for his information. In checking the male's information, it was determined that his Driver's License was suspended and there was a warrant for him from Hatfield Township for Retail Theft.  Officer also searched the 46-year-old male and found a smoking pipe and suspected marijuana. The male was taken into custody and transported to Headquarters to be processed for Drug Possession, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,  Periods for Required Lighted Lamps, and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked. Hatfield Police responded to pick up the male for the Warrant. Drug charges are pending due to results from the lab.

WT-26-06810 - Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a report of a Retail Theft in progress. A description was given of the two females involved, and en route to Walmart, an Officer observed two females fitting the description walking near Mission BBQ. The females walked up to the Officer and asked if they could just return the items. The females were taken into custody and transported back to Headquarters. The 15- and 16-year-old females were cited for Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. The girls were released to a family member.

WT-26-06779 - Officers received a phone call to respond to the Council of Southeast Pennsylvania on Louis Drive in the Township to discuss a business that is selling tobacco and vape products to minors. Officers responded to Good Vibes Vape and Smoke Shop on Street Road and spoke to the 22-year-old female in regard to selling products to minors. The 22-year-old female was cited for selling tobacco to a minor. The owner of the store will be cited as well.

WT-26-06787 - Officers received a phone call from the Council of Southeast Pennsylvania to give information on a business that sells tobacco and vape products to minors. Officers responded to Warminster Cigar and Tobacco Outlet on Newtown Road and spoke to the 47-year-old male in regard to selling products to minors. The 47-year-old male was issued a citation for selling tobacco to a minor. The owner of the store will be cited as well.

WT-26-06794 - Officers received a phone call from the Council of Southeast Pennsylvania to give information on a business that is selling tobacco and vape products to minors. Officers responded to the Smoke Shop on Countyline Road and spoke to a 29-year-old female in regard to selling products to minors. The 29-year-old female was issued a citation for selling tobacco to a minor. The owner of the store will be cited as well.

WT-26-06589 - Officers were dispatched to Evergreen and Beech Streets for a report of an Assault in progress. Upon arriving, there was a male in the street who was bloody and unresponsive. The other male was sitting on the curb with scratches on his face. The male who was in the roadway was transported to Abington Hospital for evaluation. The other male stated he was walking on Evergreen towards Walsh's Tavern, and the male exited a car and began to engage in an altercation. The 42- and 30-year-old males will be cited for Disorderly Conduct and Harassment.

WT-26-06987 - Officers were dispatched to Tenth Avenue for a report of an Assault. The caller advised that while walking his dog, he was assaulted and Threats were made to his Wife. The 26-year-old male was operating his vehicle on Greene Road at a high rate of speed. The caller and his wife were walking their dogs and yelled at the driver to slow down. The male got out of his vehicle and pushed the man with both hands on his chest. As the male walked back to his vehicle, he made threats to the caller and his wife.  A warrant was issued for the 26-year-old male. On advice of his attorney, he turned himself in the next day. He was arraigned before Judge O'Neill, and bail was set at $25,000 unsecured. The 26-year-old male was charged with Terroristic Threats, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment.
