Retail Theft Investigation; WT-26-00397

Police responded to 100 E Street Rd for the report of a retail theft in progress. Prior to police arrival, BCRR advised that the subject left on foot "towards the bus stop." BCRR provided a description of the suspect to police as a black male approximately 5'10 wearing black pants, a brown jacket and a grey beanie hat, with a grey beard.

Suspect 1:

B/M in his 50’s or 60’s approximately 5’10 wearing a tan winter coat, white hat and a grey beard

Police spoke with the complainant who advised the unidentified male selected several clothing items, meat products and a television. The complainant advised that the male would place items, including the television inside of black trash bags. The complainant approached the subject as he passed all points of sale without offering to pay for the items. The subject stated, "I didn't steal anything." The subject left the scene on foot without the items.

Total Value for the items concealed is $1,024.54.
