Period 6/13/2022 to 6/19/2022
WT-22-06459 Loitering and Prowling at Night, Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct
On 6/14/2022 at 1:44AM Officers were dispatched to Log College Drive for a possible burglary in progress. The homeowner was reporting a male was attempting to gain entry to the back door of his residence. Upon arrival officers found the subject in the rear of the property. The subject a 46 YOA male from Levittown was detained for investigation. Upon speaking with the subject it appeared the subject was under the influence of possible narcotics and or alcohol and was disoriented. Once officer completed their investigation on scene, the subject was taken into custody and charged with Loitering and Prowling at Night, Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct.
WT-22-06704 Harassment By Communication
On 6/14/2022 Officers took a report of Harassment by a known subject through social media. The subject a 37 YOA Female was previously advised not to have contact with the other party prior to this incident. The female subject was cited for Harassment.
WT-22-06815 Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness and Harassment
On 6/16/2022 at 9:34PM Officers responded to the Walmart Store for a disturbance. Upon arrival officers encountered a 44 YOA Male from Warminster in the self-checkout area who appeared to be intoxicated. Witnesses reported the male was harassing customers and store personnel and refused to leave the premise when asked. Officers were able to get the male to exit the store and at that time took him into custody. Male charged with Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness and Harassment.
WT-22-00648 Felony Theft of Copper/Scrap Metal
A 36 YOA Male from Philadelphia was charged with Felony Theft and related offenses from an incident that occurred at a local business, where approximately $2400 of Copper and other materials were allegedly taken. The male had a warrant for his arrest issued for this incident. On 6/16/2022 the US Marshal’s Service took the male into custody for a parole violation and then turned him over to Warminster PD on the outstanding warrant. The male was processed and arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison on the Warminster Charges as well as being held on a detainer for the Parole Violations.
WT-22-06867 Disorderly Conduct
On 6/17/2022 at 9:56PM an officer observed a 24 YOA Male from Warminster urinating in the parking lot of a local bar in clear view of anyone passing by. After making contact with the male he was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
WT-22-06943 Drug Possession
On 6/19/2022 at 9:45PM an 18 YOA male from Philadelphia was arrested for drug possession after an officer who was out patrolling came across him and his vehicle in the Warminster Community Park after hours.
WT-22-06912 Driving Under the Influence and Related Offenses
On 6/19/2022 at 2:04AM an officer stopped 32 YOA Male from Warminster for traffic violations in the area of Street Road and Centennial Road. During the encounter the officer determined the male operator to be intoxicated. The male was given field sobriety test and ultimately taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence and related offenses.
WT-22-06637 Theft Investigation
Officers took a report of Jeep Tires that were taken from the rear of a residence on Newtown Road.
WT-22-06694 Theft of Catalytic Converter
Police responded to the 400 block of W. Street Road on June 14th for the report of a catalytic converter theft that occurred, the value is reported to be approximately $2500.
WT-22-06854 Theft of Packages
On 6/17/2022 at approximately 5:45PM officers took a report of theft of Amazon Packages from the outside of a residence located on Coronet Drive.
WT-22-06931 Theft of Tools/Lawn Care equipment from Parked Vehicle
On 6/18/2022 Police took the report of lawn care equipment that was taken out of a truck bed of a parked vehicle in the 400 block of York Road.
*** Community Awareness:
*****As many residents are aware a drug collection box is located at the Police Department (401 Gibson Ave, Warminster PA) for the convenience of township residents. This drop box allows residents to safely and securely dispose of old prescription and over the counter medications. The box is located in our 24 hour Police Lobby. Residence should read the warning label on the front of the drop box to ensure they are only leaving approved items. These items are collected and then properly disposed of by Police.
**** We would like to remind everyone to please remember to secure your vehicles and valuables, also many newer vehicles have key fobs that auto unlock your car doors when you are in a certain range, please keep this in mind when parking your vehicle and ensure those key fobs are stored far enough away when not in use so that your vehicles remain locked. Doing these simple things will help minimize the chances of you becoming a victim of this type of theft. Most actors in these cases are looking for unlocked vehicles/quick easy targets that they can get in and out fast. These types of crimes tend to increase with the nicer weather. If you happen to see suspicious or illegal behavior occurring, it is always best to call to have an officer dispatched to check the area as soon as possible.
