Warminster Township Police Dept -Arrests and Notable Incidents Blotter: June 2024
WT-24-06420 Police were dispatched to Lillian Lane for an Intoxicated male who had fallen out of a trailer. It was later determined that the 59-year-old male was seen masturbating in the trailer with the door open and was observed by a juvenile in the area. The male was arraigned and transported to Bucks Count Prison by the Constables.
WT-24-06524 Police responded to St. John Bosco Church for vandalism. Cameras had observed a male spray paint graffiti in the parking lot. The 45-year-old male was later identified and Cited for Institutional Vandalism, Criminal Mischief, and other charges.
WT-24-06544 Officers were dispatched to Walmart on Street Road for a theft in progress. A 37-year-old male was observed leaving Walmart with a bag of stolen items. The male left Walmart on foot and was walking down Jacksonville Rd. Officers saw a man fitting the description that was given by Walmart employees. Officers saw the man walking with a blue Walmart bag and stopped him. The male was cited for Retail Theft.
WT-24-06574 The Principal of William Tennent High School phoned Bucks County Dispatch and requested an Officer come to the school to file a report as the bus driver had given his phone number to a juvenile student. The 64-year-old male was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
WT-24-06591 & WT-06592 Officers were dispatched to Jacksonville Road and Vanhorn Drive for the report of a 2-vehicle accident. A Septa bus and a utility pole were both struck. a 34-year-old male was the driver of the vehicle, and it was determined that he was intoxicated. The male was taken to Doylestown Hospital where he consented to have blood drawn. The male was cited for DUI and transported home by a friend.
WT-24-06673 Walmart Loss Prevention phoned Bucks County Dispatched and advised that they had a 59-year-old female in custody for Retail Theft. The female was at self-check-out and only scanned a few of her items and placed other items in her bag. Police transported her back to Police Headquarters and cited her for Retail theft.
WT-24-06737 Officers on routine patrol discovered a wanted person's vehicle parked at Motel 6 on Street Rd. Upon locating the 40-year-old female she stated there was a warrant out for her arrest from Montgomery County Sheriff's office. The female was transported back to Police Headquarters and was later released to Montgomery County Sheriffs.
WT-24-06961 An Employee of Flagship Oral Surgery on York Road, came into Police Headquarters to file a Police Report as someone had given them a counterfeit $100 bill for payment. The $100 bill was flagged by the bank and returned to the business to file a report with the Police.
WT-24-07061 Officers responded to Giant Food Store for a report of a Retail Theft in progress. The Dispatcher advised that the 32-year-old female left the store and was headed in the direction of Van's Auto Tags. When the Police arrived, they found the female hiding in the bushes. The female was apprehended and cited for Retail Theft.
WT-24-07068 Officers were dispatched to the Giant Food Store for a subject who had left the store with items he had not paid for. The Officer saw a male fitting the description walking near Taco Bell. When Officer stopped the 28-year-old male he stated he had come from Giant and didn't pay for any of the items he had in his possession. The male was cited for Retail Theft and the items were returned to Giant Food.
WT-24-07406 Officers were called to the 1400 Block of West County Line Rd. A woman had reported that she was assaulted by her husband. The female was taken to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation and her husband a 21-year-old male was arrested and charged with Strangulation, Simple Assault, and Harassment. After being arraigned he was transported to Bucks County Prison.
WT-24-07438 An Officer was dispatched to a Giant Food Store on Street Road in Warminster for Retail Theft. A 50-year-old male was cited for Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.
WT-24-07485 Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of East County Line Road for a report of a 2-vehicle accident. A UPS vehicle had been rear-ended. After a field sobriety test, it was determined that the 53-year-old male driver was Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol. The male was taken to Doylestown Hospital for blood testing. Further charges pending due to Blood test results.
WT-24-07610 Upon routine patrols, a known subject was observed walking into Wawa on Street Road. After completing a check, warrants were confirmed on the individual with Bucks and Montgomery County. The 42-year-old male was handcuffed and transported back to Police Headquarters to be picked up by Bucks County Sherriff's Department.
WT-24-07665 A Traffic stop was initiated by an Officer on a vehicle that had heavy window tinting. The 22-year-old female was stopped, and the Officer detected the smell of marijuana. The female was cited for Possession of marijuana and Possession of paraphernalia.
WT-24-07695 Officers responded to the Wawa on Street Road for a report of a Retail Theft. The 23-year-old male who was highly intoxicated had stated he took 2 sandwiches and caused a disruption in the store. Officers transported the male home and Citations for Retail Theft and Public Drunkenness will be mailed to him.
