As a reminder, the Warminster Township Police Department in partnership with the DEA and the Bucks County District Attorney's Office will be participating in the 2020 National Drug Take Back Day October 24, 2020 from 10 am to 2 pm. Residents will have the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to ShopRite of Warminster to 918-982 West Street Rd, Warminster, PA 18974. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked! Residents may also use the secure and anonymous drop box located in the lobby of the Warminster Police Department 24/7. New to the program: police officers will be collecting vaping products for disposal at all 46 hosting sites and in collections boxes located in local police departments. As with all medications, vaping cartridges, pods and e-cigarettes should be disposed of safely. Please visit www.bcdac.org for site locations, site protocols, and more. For more information on the Take Back program please visit https://takebackday.dea.gov/or call the Warminster Police Department at (215) 443-5000.
