Thomas A. Habgood is a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Thomas is a 2020 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Criminology. While there, he was on the Track and Field team, specializing in the javelin throw. After graduation, Thomas attended the Temple University Police Academy where he graduated in March of 2022 and completed his requirements for the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Training and Education Commission to be a sworn police officer.
In May of 2022, Thomas was hired by the Bristol Borough Police Department in Bucks County where he served as a part-time police officer.
Patrick S. Raubenstine is a 2017 graduate of Central Bucks West High School and has attended Bucks County Community College. He currently lives in Plumstead Township and is a member of the Plumsteadville Fire Department. Patrick has served in the Marine Corps Reserve since June of 2018 and currently holds the rank of Lance Corporal. Patrick attended the Temple University Police Academy where he graduated in November of 2020 and completed his requirements for the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Training and Education Commission to be a sworn police officer.
In January of 2022, Patrick was hired by the New Hope Borough Police Department in Bucks County where he served as a part-time police officer.
Thomas and Patrick took part in the Bucks County Police Testing Consortium, passing both the written and physical agility portions of the testing. Both were one of many candidates interviewed by a panel of officers of the Plumstead Township Police Department where they scored as one of the top candidates.
We as a Department believe that both Thomas and Patrick bring experience, maturity and education that will allow them to be an asset to the Plumstead Township Police Department and our community. Welcome Officer Thomas Habgood and Officer Patrick Raubenstine.
