The Plumstead Township Police Department is thrilled to announce its annual SHOP WITH A COP program, a national initiative that pairs police officers with local children to provide them with a brighter holiday season.

This program is specifically designed for elementary school-aged children in Plumstead Township who face various life challenges, including parental job loss, homelessness, military deployment, economic difficulties, and other hardships.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, including private sponsors, local businesses, and residents, each participating child receives a monetary gift card to purchase gifts for themselves and their family members, ensuring a joyful holiday experience.

Since its inception, our SHOP WITH A COP program has grown significantly, from 75 children in 2017 to 175 in 2024 and 2025. We are grateful for the overwhelming support and kindness of our community, which has made this growth possible.
