Job Opportunity: Fire Chief and Township Fire Marshal/Emergency Management Coordinator

The Plumstead Township is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to lead its fire protection services as it establishes a paid career fire service (daytime crew) to complement its volunteer fire companies. This senior leadership position will play a crucial role in creating the first paid fire department in the township.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Creating operational readiness and administration of the fire department
• Hiring and managing fire personnel
• Developing policy and acquiring equipment for fire personnel
• Assuming responsibility for daily operations of the department, including operational command, fire prevention, and strategic planning

In addition to serving as Fire Chief, this position will also function as the Township Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Coordinator, ensuring effective emergency response and community safety.
