INCIDENT BLOTTER JUNE 28- JULY 5,2021
6/28/2021
At 11:25 am, Officers were dispatched for a report of an overdose on North Easton Road. Upon arrival Police located a 22-year-old deceased male from Doylestown. Detectives are investigating the incident.
At 3:06 pm, a Plumstead Township resident contacted the Department to report a fraud involving unemployment. The resident was informed that an unemployment claim was fraudulently opened in his name. A report was filed, and the complainant was advised to contact the unemployment office.
At 7:07 pm, Officers were dispatched for a domestic in-progress on Mulberry Court. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Kelly Campbell, 24, no fixed abode, who was found to have a felony warrant from the state of Colorado. Campbell was taken into custody and later arraigned as a Fugitive of Justice. She was later transported to Bucks County Correctional Facility and released to their custody.
6/29/2021
At 9:50 am, Officers investigated a call for vandalism on the Kratz Carriage walking path. Officers located graffiti written in black sharpie marker on a barricade post along the walking path. At 10:48 am, a Plumstead Township resident contacted the Department to report a fraud involving unemployment. The resident was informed that an unemployment claim was fraudulently opened in his name. A report was filed, and the complainant was advised to contact the unemployment office.
At 3:00 pm, Officers responded to a domestic standby on Pear Drive. Officers remained on scene while personal items were retrieved from the residence.
6/30/2021
The Central Bucks Motor Carrier Safety Enforcement Team conducted a safety inspection detail in Tinicum Township between the hours of 7am till 3 pm. The team is made up of officers from this department, New Britain Township, Doylestown Township, and Quakertown Borough. During the detail, multiple citations were issued.
7/1/2021
At 10:37 am, a Plumstead Township resident contacted the Department to report a fraud involving someone posing as a PECO employee. A report was filed, and the incident is under investigation.
At 1:25, Officers responded to a domestic standby on Winterberry Drive. Officers remained on scene while personal items were retrieved from the residence.
7/2/2021
At 3:10 pm, Officers responded to Nancy Ward Circle for an unresponsive infant. Upon arrival Central Bucks Ambulance was on scene and infant was awake and breathing. The infant was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
At 3:30 pm, A Plumstead Township resident contacted the Department to report a fraud involving unemployment. The resident was informed that an unemployment claim was fraudulently opened in her name. A report was filed, and the complainant was advised to contact the unemployment office.
7/3/2021
At 11:21 am, Officers investigated a call for criminal mischief on Mountain Laurel Court. Once on scene Officers were greeted by the owner of a Jeep Wrangler that was keyed overnight while parked on the street. Video surveillance is being reviewed and the incident is under investigation.
At 3:37 pm, Officers conducted a traffic stop on North Easton Road after observing a motor vehicle violation. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The operator was unable to satisfactorily perform the field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and or a controlled substance. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
At 6:39 pm, Officers responded to a domestic standby on Pear Drive. Officers remained on scene while personal items were retrieved from the residence.
7/4/2021
Officers investigated multiple calls regarding fireworks within the Township. All calls resolved and no further action was taken.
At 2:59 pm, Officers investigated a report of road rage that occurred on River Road and Point Pleasant Pike. A blue Mercedes Benz attempted to run a group of bicyclists off the road. The driver of the vehicle then sprayed what was later determined to be pepper spray onto a bicyclist. A vehicle registration was obtained by a passing motorist and the incident is under investigation.
7/5/2021
At 11:04 am, Officers investigated a call for criminal mischief on Point Pleasant Pike. Once on scene, Officers were greeted by the owner of a Chevy Tahoe that was keyed overnight while parked in front of a business. Officers are still investigating to identify actor.
