11/21/22
At 3:55pm, a Plumstead Township Police officer received a phone about a suspicious female. The complainant stated that a female has been entering Cosmo Prof on three separate occasions and each time walks right to the same area. Nothing has been missing but wanted to make officers aware of the situation. Officers informed the complainant to pass the information along to the other Cosmo Pros.
At 2:45pm, a Plumstead Township officer received a call about an animal complaint that occurred on 11/19/22 in the area of Tall Cedar Court. The male caller stated that while walking his dog two dogs charged him, but the owner of the dogs was able to recall them. No injuries occurred at this. Complainant was informed to contact the police department if it happens again.
At 3:58pm, Officers responded to the McDonalds on Easton Rd. for a disturbance not in progress. Prior to officers’ arrival the individual left the area in an unknown direction of travel. Officers talked to the complainant which stated that a male was yelling at one the employees at the drive-thru window and that the individual almost backed into another vehicle. No further action was taken.
At 6:45pm, Officers responded to a retail theft not in progress at the Giant Food store on Swamp Rd. Store employee informed officers that a female attempted to walk out with over $100 worth of items. The female did return later and paid for the merchandise.
11/23/22
At 8:21am, Officers responded to the area of Stump Rd for a theft of a catalytic converter that occurred overnight. The complainant stated that they left their work truck around 6pm on 11/22/22 and notice the converters missing at 8am on 11/23. Officers are checking surveillance cameras and this case is still under investigation.
At 6:28pm, Officers responded to the Giant parking lot on Easton Rd for a theft not in progress. Complainant met the officer at her vehicle and stated when she ran into the store, she left her purse in the car and when she came out it was missing along with some personal items. The incident is still under investigation.
11/26/22
At 8:50 pm, officers arrived in the 5800 block of Easton Road for an assault/road rage incident. When officers arrived, they talked to the complainant who stated that he passed a car on Route 413 and the individual followed him to a local shopping center. The individual got out of his vehicle and approached the complainant yelling at him. The complainant then exited his vehicle and the two individuals engaged in a physical altercation which was quickly broken up by a bystander. The responding officers met with the complainant and informed him he should have stayed in his vehicle and called 911. Prior to the officers arriving in the area, the second individual involved in the altercation fled the area. No further police action was taken.
