At 4:20pm, a complainant came into the station to report some fraud activity on his business account that is in the area of Point Pleasant Pike. The complainant stated that in three different transactions a total of $6840.00 was withdrawn from his account. He noticed this when he was closing his books for the year. The complainant was given a victim’s right packet. No further action is being taken.

At 10:41am, officers responded to the Dollar General on Easton Rd for a sale of tobacco products were sold to an underage person. The complainant stated that the clerk sold the pack of cigarettes to the individual knowing that she was underage. The clerk was advised of the situation and was told the store will be cited.

At 11:27am, officers were dispatched to the Perkins Restaurant on Swamp Rd for an unwanted person. By the time officers arrived the suspect had already left. Officers were met up by the complainant who stated that the individual came into the restaurant and started to be loud, making inappropriate comments and disturbing the other customers. The manager escorted the individual out and requested the officers to reach out and inform him that he is no longer welcomed back.
At 12:10pm, officers investigated a walk-in fraud complaint at headquarters. The complainant stated he received a call that his grandson needed to be bailed out of jail and needed to pay $5000. The complainant, who believed the scammer, went to a specific bitcoin location, and paid the money. The complainant was provided with a victim’s right package and the officer is investigating.
At 9:45pm, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area Easton Rd on the operator of a white Hyundai Sonata. Upon contact with the operator, the officers detected a strong odor of alcohol. The operator Christian Samos, 22, of Doylestown was unable to satisfactorily perform field sobriety test and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

At 7:41pm, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area Old Easton Rd on the operator of a Black Dodge Ram pickup. Upon contact with the operator, the officers detected a strong odor of alcohol. The operator Christopher Chybinski, 32, of Perkasie was unable to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
