The Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless (CSSH) is pleased to operate the Code Blue Project, providing vital overnight shelter to those in need during the cold winter months.
The shelter will be open on nights when the temperature is predicted to be 28 degrees or below, including wind chill, as long as sufficient volunteer support is available. Additionally, the shelter will open every Thursday, regardless of temperature, when enough volunteers are available.
The Code Blue Project season runs from December 1 through March 31. Doors open at 7:30 PM, and walk-ins are welcome at any time after. Guests will be bussed out in the morning at 6:45 AM.
This essential service provides a safe and warm refuge for individuals experiencing homelessness during the harsh winter season. They rely on the generosity of our volunteers to make this project possible. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact CSSH to learn more.
Stay safe and warm this winter!
