On April 18, 2019, at approximately 8:22pm, Plumstead Township Police responded to the 5500 block of Point Pleasant Pike for a motorcycle accident. Officers arrived on scene and found the operator suffering from serious injuries as a result of the crash. The operator was flown to Temple University Hospital via a Medivac helicopter.  As of 11:00 pm, the operator of the motorcycle was is in critical condition. Point Pleasant Pike was closed in both directions for approximately 2 hours, while officers investigated the scene. The Plumstead Township Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Point Pleasant Fire Department, Plumsteadville EMS and Bedminster Township Police.  If there were any witnesses to the crash, or if anyone has information about the accident, please call Plumstead Township Police or leave an anonymous tip via the Crimewatch site.
