If you're a local resident worried about someone struggling with homelessness, depression, substance abuse, medical issues, or other concerning life challenges, but aren't sure how to help, the Perkasie Borough Police Department has a solution. Our new "Request For Social Services" form, available on our Crimewatch page, allows you to quickly and easily ask for social service intervention on behalf of that individual. A licensed social worker, our Civilian Community Relations Specialist, will review each submission, gather more information, and determine the best course of action. Depending on the situation, our in-house specialist or Co-Responder may be able to provide direct assistance, or we may refer the individual to a county social service agency or community provider. This free and voluntary service is available to residents of Perkasie and Sellersville Boroughs, with the individual retaining the right to decline assistance. You can find the new Request For Social Services form at https://crimewatch.net/us/pa/bucks/perkasie-boro-pd/36078/webforms/request-social-services-form.
In situations where someone is in immediate danger, experiencing abuse, or being neglected, please dial 911 for emergency assistance. Note that referrals are not monitored around the clock and should not be relied upon in place of emergency services.
