Perkasie Borough Police responded to a reportable traffic accident on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10:21am on Ridge Road in the area of Callowhill Street in Perkasie.  The driver of a Kenworth T1800 dump truck was stopped on Ridge Road for a mail truck that was delivering mail when the Kenworth was rear-ended by a Mazda Tribute.  The Mazda received heavy, disabling front-end damage and the dump truck sustained very minor damage to the hitch on the back of the truck.  The brake lights of the dump truck were functioning properly.  The driver of the Mazda sustained multiple injuries and was transported by Medics 151 to Grand View Hospital.  Assisting at the scene was Perkasie Fire Company and Pennridge Regional Police.  The Mazda was towed by Kirk's Auto Body.  

April 25, 2023

Perkasie Borough Police responded to a reportable accident on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 6:13pm at N 9th Street and Ridge Avenue in Perkasie.  The driver of a GMC pick up truck stopped at the designated stop sign, proceeded through the stop sign and into the intersection in an attempt to turn left onto 9th Street when his vehicle was struck by a Chrysler 300 traveling south on N 9th Street.  The driver of the Chrysler was unable to stop and struck the GMC.  The Chrysler was towed from the scene by Kirk's Auto Body.  No injuries were reported.
