Perkasie Borough Police Chief Robert Schurr presented Commendations to Perkasie Police Department Detective  Anthony Gro, Bucks County District Attorney's Office Detectives Timothy Perkins and Eric Landamia and Bucks County Deputy District Attorney Mary Kate Kohler. The commendations were awarded for the investigation and subsequent arrest and conviction of a suspect for the Elizabeth Capaldi homicide that occurred on October 10, 2022 in Sellersville Borough. The commendations were presented during the Sellersville Borough Council meeting on December 11, 2023.

The ceremony was attended by family and staff of the Perkasie Borough Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney's Office including current District Attorney and recently elected Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Matthew Weintraub, First Assistant Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn and Chief of Bucks County Detectives Martin McDonough.
