Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Middle Holland and St. Leonard’s Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on St. Leonard’s Road, stopped at the stop sign, proceed onto Middle Holland Road where they hit Unit #2. Minor injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Middle Holland and Buck Roads for a report of a four-vehicle accident. Unit #1 indicates they became distracted and did not see traffic stopping causing them to strike Unit #2, who then struck Unit #3 who then struck Unit #4. Minor injuries were reported. Unit #1 and Unit #2 were towed from the scene.
Fraud Attempt
Patrol responded to Briarwood Drive for a report of a fraud attempt. Complainant states that their parents recently received a call from an unknown subject posing as their grandson stating they were at St. Luke’s Hospital and needed $15,000. The grandparents believed and confirmed this call to be a scam and did not pay any money. Complainant was looking for information regarding fraud and this matter noted.
Dog Bite
Patrol responded to Wayne Court for a report of a dog bite. Complainant, a juvenile, had gone to a friend’s home, stated that the family dog had bit and scratched them in response to rough housing and a television being knocked over. Complainant refused EMS. Patrol spoke with the juvenile’s parent who was already aware of the situation and in route. The homeowner was contacted and requested to provide necessary documentation to the department. Investigation continuing.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse and Hatboro Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was traveling on Almshouse Road when they stopped for a red light, Unit #1 failed to stop and struck Unit #2 in the rear. Minor injuries were reported, both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Vanderveer Drive for a report of a solicitor. Complainant reports an unknown subject soliciting for exterminating services without a permit. Patrol checked the are and did not find the unknown subject.
Suspicious Incident
Patrol responded to Chapel Drive at the request of PEMA who had received information from the USAF that a locator beacon was active and asking patrol to check the area. Upon arrival patrol met with an individual cleaning out their car and believed that the beacon was activated erroneously. No problems were reported and PEMA was notified.
Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Joanne Road for a report of a solicitor. Complainant states that an unknown male was soliciting for Echo Systems. Patrol checked the area and did not find the unknown male.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike for a report of a hit & run accident. Patrol met with the complainant who stated they were stopped on Lower Holland Road waiting to make a right turn when Unit #1 made a left turn from Bustleton Pike and struck the complainant and continued on without stopping. While taking the report, Patrol was dispatched to Christopher Drive for a report of an accident at Bustleton Pike & Lower Holland Road, from the operator of Unit #1. The operator indicated they did not observe any damage at the time of the collision and didn’t see Unit #2 stop, but when they got home observed damage to rear of the vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bristol Road for a report of an accident with a car and train. Complainant reports they did not see the train and it was too late to stop for it. Complainant stated they did not see any warning lights for the rail crossing. Complainant was transported to the hospital and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
Bicycle Accident
Patrol responded to Second Street Pike for a report of bicycle vs. automobile accident. The operator of the vehicle reports being stopped waiting to exit the parking lot, when they heard a thud on the passenger side of their truck. A juvenile on the bike reported that they were unable to brake in time and struck the vehicle. The juvenile’s parent responded to the scene. The juvenile reported minor injuries but refused EMS. Patrol transported the disabled bicycle to the home for the juvenile.
Juvenile Problems
Patrol responded to Northampton Community Park for multiple calls for issues with juveniles on bikes harassing park goers and blocking the parking lot/driving area. Patrol spoke with multiple juveniles on what to do and what not to do at the park. Additionally, Patrol had one of the juveniles call their parent to advise of the situation and suggested several summer programs that might be an alternative for the juvenile.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Buck and Rocksville Road for a report of a roll over crash with entrapment. Unit #1 was stopped on Rocksville Road while attempting to make a left turn onto Buck Road struck Unit #2 causing Unit #2 to lose control and end up upside down trapping the operator. Both operators were transported to St. Mary Medical Center and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Dirt Bikes/ATVs/Quads
Patrol responded to Livery Drive for a report of an ATV riding on Association property. Patrol observed two juveniles riding small ATVS in the rear of private property and spoke with the homeowner. Patrol advised the homeowner that the ATVs needed to be ridden on their property, not on Association property.
Theft
Patrol responded to West Windrose Drive for a report of a theft of a catalytic converter. Complainant states that sometime over the past month, someone stole their catalytic converter. Complainant states that the vehicle was parked in their driveway. Complainant stated they do not have any surveillance cameras nor do any of their neighbors. Case referred to Detectives.
Information Reported
Patrol responded to Highspire Road for a complaint of a dog being set free after them. Complainant indicates they were soliciting door to door when a dog came running towards them, they backed up and were able to get into their vehicle at which time they were blocked in by two vehicles. Police arrived and spoke with all involved and found it was misunderstanding. The complainant was soliciting for ECO Systems without a permit and was instructed by police to stop until a permit was obtained.
Disturbance
Patrol responded to Churchville Elementary School for a report of a large group or party that was being loud. Upon arrival multiple groups were dispersed and left the area. There was no damage to the building or parking lot.
Theft/Purse Snatch
Patrol responded to 800 Bustleton Pike for a report of theft in the ACME parking lot. Complainant advised that a group of unknown subjects were in the parking lot. When complainant returned to their vehicle, one of the group tapped on the vehicle window indicating a bolt was by the car. Complainant got out of the vehicle to look at what the subject was doing when complainant got back into the car they noticed that their wallet was missing. Complainant tried to follow the subject who with the others had gotten into a Silver Acura and drove away. Patrol checked the area and did not locate the vehicle. Surveillance cameras in the area were checked and requests for footage were made. Matter referred to the Detectives Unit.
Dog Bite
Patrol responded to School House Road for a report of a dog bitten by another dog. Complainant reports that they were walking their dog when another dog broke free from its chain and attacked their dog. The Complainant’s dog suffered lacerations to the rear of its body and was taken to an emergency vet. The owner of the attacking dog was advised of the steps regarding quarantining requirements for the biting dog.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of a one vehicle accident. Complainant reports a deer attempted to run across road and was struck by Complainant. There was minor damage to the vehicle.
Dog Complaint
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike for a report of a dog inside an unoccupied vehicle. Upon arrival patrol found the vehicle with the dog inside. The animal did not appear to be in distress. Patrol surveyed the area in an attempt to locate the owner, when the owner came back to the vehicle they were advised of the dangers of leaving an animal in a closed vehicle. Owner was apologetic for the incident.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Upper Holland Road for a report of two vehicle accident with injuries. Unit #1 proceeded through a traffic sign and struck Unit #2 who was traveling on Bustleton Pike. The passenger in Unit #1 was taken to St. Mary Medical Center for a head injury. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Dog Bite
Patrol responded to Edwards Drive for a report of dog bite. Complainant reports while out running they were bit by a dog. The dog owner helped Complainant with the bleeding, Complainant was then going to an urgent care to have the wound looked at. The dog owner was advised of the quarantine requirements for the biting dog.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident in a parking lot. Unit #1 being driven by the business employee, when their foot slipped and hit the gas pedal and struck the rear of Unit #2, which was unoccupied. Minor damage to both vehicles was reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to East Bristol Road and Churchville Lane for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on East Bristol Road when it struck Unit #2 in the rear, while it was stopped for a red light. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Lost Dog
Patrol responded to Bradley Court for a report of a lost dog. Complainant provided a photograph, which was uploaded to the department Facebook page. Later in the day patrol responded again to Bradley Court for a report of the lost dog running free, and neighbors trying to corral the dog. Police attempted to contact the owner multiple times, they stated they were not home and to let the dog continue to roam.
