Warrant Arrest
While on patrol, officers observed an individual known to them and known to have an outstanding arrest warrant out of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. The subject was detained and held until they were picked up by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office to answer to the outstanding arrest warrant.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. The operator of Unit #1 while traveling on Almshouse Road, took their eyes off the road and when they looked back Unit #2 had stopped. Unit #1 struck the rear of Unit #2. Unit #1 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Drug Arrest
While on patrol in the area of the Richboro Plaza Shopping Center, a vehicle was stopped for traffic violations and the operator of the vehicle was taken into custody for possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. After further investigation, a Search Warrant for the vehicle was obtained, where a stolen firearm was found. Charges to be filed.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Hatboro and Almshouse Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was traveling on Hatboro Road, proceeded through a green traffic light and was struck by Unit #1 who was traveling on Almshouse Road and did not stop for the red traffic light. Neither vehicle required a tow and no injuries were reported.

Patrol responded to Buck and Rocksville Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 while traveling on Rocksville Road, proceeded through the stop sign and struck Unit #2, who was traveling on Buck Road. Unit #2 was towed from the scene and minor injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
While on patrol, officers came upon a one car accident on Holland Road. The driver of Unit #1 indicates that they were traveling on Holland Road, went to check their GPS and swerved off the road and hit a PECO Pole. The driver was transported to St. Mary Medical Center for their injuries, the vehicle was towed from scene. PECO was contacted to make repairs to the struck pole.
Well Being Check
Patrol responded to Hampton Road and New Road for a report of a found 3-year-old child. The complainant reports finding a 3-year-old child walking on New Road. Police were able to locate the address the child came from and contact the occupants of the home.
Fraud
Complainant come into police headquarters to report a possible fraud on going with their elderly father via telephone. Patrol met with the victim and took their statement. The victim indicated they had transferred large amounts of money after being told they had won a prize. All information was forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Division.
Suspicious Incidents
Patrol responded to Highland Drive for a report of a suspicious incident. Complainant reports that the passenger side brake box was found lying next to their vehicle. Complainant reports that it was intact in the late evening of June 8. No surveillance cameras in the area recorded anything unusual.

Patrol responded to the Post Office on Bustleton Pike for a report of a broken glass door. Complainant reports they found the front glass door to the building broken this morning. A request to the property owner was made for any surveillance footage that may be available. Complainant noted that the door had a history of sticking and not closing. A customer who was at the location indicated he had observed the door swing open at a fast pace in the past when there is windy weather. Patrol will follow up with surrounding businesses for any additional surveillance videos.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Worthington Mill Road for a report of a one car accident. Complainant indicates they were driving on Worthington Mill Road when a deer ran into the roadway and they were unable to avoid striking the deer. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
Community Relations
Lieutenant Egan, Ofc. Hearn and K-9 Pako were the featured guests at the Richboro Business Association monthly meeting held at the Richboro Swim Club. Ofc. Hearn and Pako provided a demonstration, to attendees and club members, on Pako’s outstanding detection abilities and Ofc. Hearn spoke about their training and uses in the Community. Lt. Egan spoke about the support provided by the Richboro Business Association and this year’s Police Food Drive.
Suspicious Vehicle
Patrol responded to Newtown Richboro Road, in the early hours of the morning for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Patrol made contact with the vehicle occupants who indicated they were hanging out. Occupants were advised that the area was closed at this time of day and they were not allowed to be there. They left the area without incident.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Upper Holland Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was travelling on Upper Holland Road and was unable to stop for traffic and struck Unit #2. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 while attempting to exit the parking lot struck Unit #2. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Covey Lane for a report of solicitors in the area. Complainant indicated a man was attempting to sell exterminator services. While speaking with the Complainant, it was learned that the man had been there 30 minutes prior. A check of the area did not locate the subject.
Community Outreach
Members of the Quality of Life Unit met with members of the Northampton Township Senior Center to give a presentation on Fraud. The session was well attended.
Well Being Check
Patrol responded to Holland Road for a report of an elderly male walking down Holland Road who appeared to be lost. Patrol was able to locate the male who was confused. Patrol was able to locate the man’s family who came to the scene. The family was given information on the FINDS Program.
Attempted Thefts
Patrol responded to Pennlyn Road for a report of attempted theft from vehicle. Complainant states that some time overnight their car was ransacked, Complainant did not indicate that anything was taken, the car was just gone through. A check with a neighbor for their surveillance cameras brought to light another break in. The resident didn’t realize their car had been broken into until seeing it on the video. The resident reports a pair of sunglasses and nominal amount of change stolen from their vehicle.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Tanyard and Hatboro Roads for a report of two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped at the red light when Unit #1 failed to stop and struck the rear of Unit #2. Minor injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Theft from Vehicle
Patrol responded to Upland Drive for a report of theft from vehicles. Complainant stated they had left both of their trucks unlocked overnight. In the morning Complainant found both vehicles had been ransacked and a Wawa Gas Card had been stolen. Complainant states that their Ring camera did not pick up any footage of anyone going through the vehicles.
Criminal Mischief
Patrol responded to Hopkins Court for a report of Criminal Mischief. Complainant states that they came out to their car this morning to find all four tires slashed. Patrol checked for area video surveillance and found none.
