Patrol conducted traffic control at Dembowski Park for the annual Memorial Day Service, honoring those who paid the ultimate price.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to East Holland Road at Bridgetown Pike for a report of two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was driving on Bridgetown Pike attempting to turn onto East Holland Road when it struck Unit #2 in the rear. No injuries were report. Unit # 1 was towed from the scene.
Traffic Stop - Drug Possession
While conducting a traffic stop, patrol observed drug paraphernalia on the passenger, the driver consented to a search of the vehicle, where drugs were found both in the vehicle and on the passenger. An arrest was made of the passenger and charges are pending.
Traffic Accident
While on patrol, Officers came upon a two-vehicle accident on Upper Holland Road. Unit #1 while attempting to turn left onto Upper Holland, road struck Unit #2. Minor damage was reported on both vehicles, no injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road and Holland Road for a four-vehicle accident. Unit #1 failed to stop for traffic which had stopped for a red light, striking Unit #2, which caused Unit #2 to strike Unit #3, which cause Unit #3 to strike Unit #4. No injuries were reported. Only Unit #1 was towed from the scene.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot at 99 Buck Road. Unit #1 while backing up, hit Unit #2. No injuries were reported, neither vehicle needed to be towed.
Citizen Complaint of Speeding Vehicle
Patrol responded to Brookside Drive for a report of a speeding vehicle. Complainant indicates a vehicle had been speeding and driving erratic on Brookside Drive 3-4 times today and they were concerned for neighborhood children. Patrol check the area and located the reported vehicle and spoke with the driver about the hazards of speeding.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a traffic accident on W. Bristol Road. Unit #1 was stopped behind Unit #2 for a red traffic signal, when their foot slipped off the brake and they struck Unit #2. Neither vehicle required a tow. The operator of Unit #2 was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation.

Patrol responded to Middle Holland Road at Old Jordan Road for a report of two vehicle accident with injuries. Unit #1 attempted to cross the intersection from Old Jordan Road when it struck Unit #2 who was traveling on Middle Holland Road. Both operators were transported to St. Mary Medical Center for evaluation. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Traffic Accident – Hit & Run
Patrol responded to Rock Way for a report of a hit and run. Unit #1 was parked waiting to pick someone up when it was struck by Unit #2, Unit #2 then left the scene of the accident. Surveillance footage from the area confirmed Unit #1’s statement. A check of the area failed to produce any information on Unit #2. No injuries were reported and Unit #1 did not require a tow.
Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Pulinski Road for a complaint of Solicitors’ in the area for carpenter bees. Complainant states that they answered the door through a camera and the unknown subject was persistent indicting they were doing work for neighbors. Complainant felt the situation was suspicious. Complainant was going to forward their video footage of the incident to patrol for further review.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike for a report of one vehicle accident. Unit #1 reports they were stopped for traffic when a large tree branch fell into the travel lane and struck Unit #1 causing multiple scratches and dents. No one was injured and the vehicle was driven from the scene.

Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped for traffic for a red light, when it was struck in the rear by Unit #1 who failed to stop. Minor injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to a four-vehicle accident at Buck and Rocksville Road. Unit #1 traveling on Rocksville Road stopped at the stop sign at Buck Road, then proceeded through the stop sign where Unit #1 struck Unit #2 which was traveling on Buck Road. Unit #2 after being struck, rotated and crossed the center line where it struck Unit #3, which was then struck again by Unit #4 which was following Unit #3. Three of the vehicles were towed from the scene. Two of the drivers were transported to St. Mary Medical Center.
Theft
Patrol responded to Richard Road in Ivyland for a report of a package theft. Complainant states that a third-party deliverer delivered a package, took a picture of the delivered package and then took the package back. Surveillance footage confirms complainant’s information. Investigation continuing.
Suspicious Incident
A telephone call was received from a security company reporting a suspicious incident. One of their customer’s called to inquire if the company had sent out a representative as someone had knocked on their door and represented that they were a representative of the security company. The security company had not sent anyone out. The resident had not opened their door to the unknown subject and did not have surveillance cameras. While canvassing the area, patrol met with a neighbor who was waiting for their security company. It was determined that the unknown subject had gone to the wrong address, no further action was required.
Juvenile Problem
Patrol responded to Rolling Hills Elementary for a report of juveniles on the roof. Patrol arrived and observed two juveniles on the roof of the school. Both juveniles climbed down to patrol. Parents were notified and juveniles sent home.
Medical Emergency
Patrol responded to Kasi Circle for a report of a drowning of a 6-year-old child. Upon arrival the child was breathing and was transported to St. Mary Medical Center and then flown to CHOP by PennStar, investigation continuing.
Found Property
An anonymous male brought a wallet he had found into the police station. Patrol as able to contact the owner and arrange for them to pick up their wallet.
Public Drunkenness
Patrol responded to the Holland Wawa for a report of an intoxicated male who had fallen down the hill behind the Wawa. Upon arrival, Patrol met with the male who was intoxicated and combative. The male was transported to St. Mary Medical Center for evaluation.
Medical Emergency
Patrol responded to E. Village Road for a drowning of a 5-year-old child. Upon arrival, the child was conscious and alert and being tended by EMS. The child was transported to St. Mary Medical Center.
