Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to Elsa Way for a report of Solicitors claiming to be working for PECO. Upon arrival, patrol was approached by two contractors who indicated they were sub-contractors for PECO and were repairing/replacing meters. Patrol was able to confirm this information and reported same to the original Complainant.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for report of a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival it was reported that Unit #2 was stopped at a red traffic signal when it was struck in the rear by Unit #1. Unit #1 required a tow from the scene and no injuries were reported.
Theft from Vehicle
Patrol responded to Edwards Drive for a report of a theft from vehicle. Complainant reports that a large amount of cash, garage door opener and check were stolen from his unlocked vehicle. The case was forwarded to Detectives for handling.
Simple Assault
Patrol responded to Pulinski Road for a report of an Assault. Upon arrival patrol was met with an unknown subject exiting the garage at a high rate of speed over the front lawn. Patrol met with Complainant who stated they had received several injuries from the subject. Additional units had been advised of the fleeing vehicle, the fleeing vehicle crashed and the subject was placed under arrest. Defendant was arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison.
Burglary
Patrol responded to Churchville Lane for a report of a Burglary. Upon arrival Complainant stated that they arrived home and found their front door forced open and the dead bolt ripped out. Patrol searched the house and found no one, but found the bedrooms had been ransacked. Detectives responded and processed the scene. Investigation continues.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Northampton Township Library for a one vehicle traffic accident. Upon arrival it was determined that the operator of Unit #1 suffered a medical emergency while driving, went over the curb, struck a bench and hit a tree before stopping. Unit #1 was towed from the scene. The driver was transported to St. Mary Medical Center.
Fraud/Scam Reported
Patrol responded to Michael Road for a report of a scam. Upon arrival patrol spoke with complainant who indicated he had received an email, which appeared to be a spoof email of a legitimate business’ asking for gift cards. Complainant realized it was scam and did not sent any gift cards or money but wanted a report made in case others fell victim to this scam.
BC Police Recovery Program
Complainant came to headquarters to be processed. While here, they requested help for addiction. A referral was made through the BPAIR to discuss assessment, treatment, resources and recovery support with the complainant.
Hit & Run
Patrol responded to Pine Avenue for a report of an unattended hit and run accident. Upon arrival patrol met with the complainant who indicated their vehicle had been parked in front of their residence and had been damaged. Complainant advised that their Ring Camera did not capture any incidents. A report was made.
Found Dog
Patrol responded to Nancy Drive for a report of dog. Upon arrival complainant advised they had found a dog, but did not know its owner. Patrol was able to locate the owner of the dog, through canvassing the neighborhood.
D.U.I. Accident
Patrol responded to a parking lot on Second Street Pike for a report of an accident involving a car and a pedestrian. Upon arrival patrol met with the Complainant who indicated Unit #1, while attempting to park had run over their foot. Complainant was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center. While speaking with the operator of Unit #1, it was determined that the operator was impaired and placed under arrest for suspicion of D.U.I.
Catalytic Converter Thefts
Patrol responded to a business in the Ivyland Industrial Park, for a report of stolen catalytic converters. Upon arrival patrol met with the complainant who stated two of the business’s vehicles had had their catalytic converters stolen overnight. Case was referred to Detectives.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Jacksonville and West Bristol Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #2 was stopped for a red traffic signal, when Unit #1 failed to stop and struck the rear of Unit #2’s vehicle. Minor damage was reported, neither vehicle required a two and no injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Tanyard and North Friesland Road for a two-vehicle accident. Unit # 2 was traveling on Tanyard Road when Unit #1 who was traveling on North Friesland Road failed to stop for the stop sign and turned onto Tanyard Road in front of Unit #2. Unit #1 was towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.
Local Ordinance Violation
Patrol responded to Carmelita Drive for a report of burning trash. Complainant reports that a neighbor is burning trash. Patrol spoke with the neighbor and advised local ordinance prohibited burning in a burn barrel. The fire was extinguished without incident.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the Second Street Pike in a parking lot for a report of an accident. Unit #1 struck Unit #2 while attempting to park. Minor damage was done, neither vehicle required a tow and no injuries were reported.
