DUI Arrest
While patrolling the area of Almshouse Road, Officers stopped a vehicle for vehicle violations. Through investigation, the driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI. The driver was processed and released.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Newtown Richboro Road and Harmony Drive for a report of two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was stopped at Harmony Drive attempting to make a left onto Newtown-Richboro Road when they struck Unit #2 which was traveling on Newtown-Richboro Road. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, no injuries were reported.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Bustleton Pike in “rolling traffic” when they looked away for a moment did not realize traffic had stopped and struck Unit #2. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and did not require a tow. No injuries were reported.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Buck Road and Briarwood Drive for a one-vehicle accident. Complainant states they were traveling on Buck Road when a deer ran onto the roadway and they were unable to avoid hitting the deer. The vehicles sustained moderate damage, but was able to be driven from the scene.

Identity Theft
Complainant came into headquarters to report identity theft. Complainant states that two accounts were opened in their name at two credit unions in the past two weeks. Complainant states that they were opened via online applications. Both accounts have since been closed. Complainant was advised to check their credit history and maintain a close eye on all of their accounts.

Suspicious Activity/Theft
Patrol responded to Misty Meadow and Fir Drive for a report of two males dropping mail into the sewer. Complainant states they observed the males dumping mail into a sewer. Complainant believes they are going through the neighborhood stealing mail from home mailboxes. Patrol observed at least three pieces of mail in the storm drain and contacted DPW to remove the storm drain. Officers retrieved the mail, and processed it as evidence. All of the mail had a local return address stamped on them. Patrol responded to that address and spoke with the homeowner who indicates they put outgoing mail in their mailbox at about 10:30 a.m. and all contained checks. The homeowner was instructed to freeze the account immediately. Case referred to detectives.
DUI
While on patrol, Officers observed a vehicle driving and commit several traffic violations. Officers proceeded with a traffic stop and through investigation, the driver was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. The driver was process and released.
Theft
Patrol responded to Fairhill Drive for a report of a theft. Complainant states that someone stole a check from their mailbox. Complainant put outgoing mail containing a check in their mail box this morning. A worker working in the house across the street notified Complainant they saw a vehicle pull up to the mailbox and the passenger reached in and removed the contents. Complainant was able to notify their bank and cancel the check. Case referred to detectives.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to E. Bristol Road for a four-vehicle traffic accident with injuries. Unit #1 was traveling on E. Bristol Road when they looked away for a moment and when they looked up realized they have swerved from their lane of travel. Unit #1 was unable to avoid striking Unit #2 and Unit #3, causing Unit #2 to strike Unit #4. The operator of Unit #2 was taken to St. Mary Medical Center. Unit #1 was towed from the scene, all the other vehicles sustained damage.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to E. Holland and Holland Roads for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was stopped at the stop sign on E. Holland Road when they attempted to turn left and struck Unit #2 who was making a left off of Holland Road onto E. Holland Road. Unit #2 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Fraud/Theft
Complainant came into headquarters to report a fraud/theft. Complainant states an unknown individual used 17,500 of their American Airlines miles to purchase an international airline ticket. Complainant contacted American Airlines who was able to cancel the ticket but would not reimburse the miles unless Complainant had a police report. Complainant reports no other issues with any of their other accounts.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road and 2nd Street Pike for a report of two vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Almshouse Road, attempting to make a left into a parking lot, was waived on by another driver, and did not see Unit #2 when they struck them. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

DUI Arrest
While on patrol, Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle they had witnessed multiple traffic violations. Through investigation, the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, processed and released.
Burglary
Patrol responded to Fawn Drive for a report of a burglary not in progress. Complainant states that they arrived home from church and noticed their sliding glass door had the lock pried open. Officers entered the home and found that only the master bedroom had been ransacked. Detectives responded to scene to process the area for evidence and takeover the investigation.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report a fraud. Complainant states that someone used their personal information to open a bank account at Bank of America. Complainant advised the bank that they did not open an account. Bank of America told Complainant that a check had attempted to be deposited and was denied for fraud detection. The bank has closed the account. Complainant has already notified the credit bureaus.
