Information Reported
Patrol responded to Bridgetown Pike for a report of possible littering. Complainant states they saw a pickup truck dumping some sort of stone material in a driveway. Patrol came in contact with the dumper who thought it would be okay to leave the stone material in the driveway. The dumper was advised that all of the material needed to be removed as they did not have the permission of the property owner to dump the material. The dumper removed all of the stone material.
Fraud
Complainant contacted Patrol to report a fraud. Complainant states they hired and paid in full for a business to make them a dining room set, with a delivery date of December 2022. Complainant made multiple follow ups and was advised by another police department that the business had an ongoing theft by deception case outstanding. Complainant provided a written state and copies of interactions with the business.
Fire
While on patrol, Officers found a camp fire at the edge of the Churchville Nature Center. Officers with the assistance of Northampton Township Fire Department were able to extinguish same.
Fire
Patrol responded to Elm Avenue for a report of a brush fire. Patrol was able to extinguish the brush fire with their fire extinguisher, Northampton Township Fire Department arrived and watered down the area to ensure the fire was completely extinguished.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Jacksonville Road for a report of a one vehicle accident. Complainant states they were traveling on Jacksonville Road when a deer ran out in front of the vehicle and the Complainant was unable to avoid hitting the deer causing damage to the front grill and bumper. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
Theft from Vehicle
Complainant called headquarters to report a theft. They indicated that after seeing on social media about the recent criminal activity in their neighborhood they had gone to their vehicle and found a flashlight and winter cap and gloves were missing from their vehicle. Complainant believes they were taken sometime between 1-16-23 and 1-17-23. A check of the area was made for surveillance cameras. Case was referred to Detectives.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Bustleton Pike and Upper Holland Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Bustleton Pike and ran the red light at Upper Holland Road and struck Unit #2, who was traveling from Upper Holland Road. Unit #1 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Theft of a Motor Vehicle
Cheltenham Township Police Department contacted headquarters to report they had a vehicle with a smashed window that had been recovered in a parking lot and asked that the vehicle owner, a Northampton resident on Spring Garden Mill, be advised. When patrol went to the home, they were advised by the resident that the vehicle was there yesterday and was stolen some time overnight. The resident had both sets of keys in their possession and there was broken glass observed in their driveway. Detectives made arrangements for the vehicle to be processed for evidence and towed back to headquarters. Investigation continues.
Theft of a Motor Vehicle
Patrol responded to Lehigh Drive for a report of a dark colored vehicle with its window smashed out. Patrol tracked the vehicle’s owner to a resident on Lehigh Drive. Patrol contacted the resident who did not know that their vehicle had been taken. The vehicle was processed for evidence and released to the owners. Investigation continues.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Holland Road for a report of a one-vehicle accident involving a deer. Complainant states they were traveling on Holland Road when a deer entered the road way and Complainant was unable to avoid hitting the deer. The vehicle sustained front end damage but was able to be driven from the scene.
Suspicious Person
Patrol responded to Heather Valley Road for a report of suspicious person. Complainant states that their Ring showed a male attempting to enter their vehicles which were parked in their driveway. Due the vehicles being locked; the male was unable to enter the vehicles and left in a gray sedan. Complainant provided a copy of the video to the police department. Case was referred to detectives.
Fraud
Complainant came into headquarters to report fraud. Complainant states after hearing about the Bucks County District Attorney’s office is handling fraud claims against a furniture builder, they were told to file a complaint with our department. Complainant stated they too contracted with the business to build a dining room set and paid two deposits. When the dining room set was not delivered, after multiple promises, Complainant was able to stop the payments, which had been made via credit card. The second payment was credited back, but is still in dispute. Case referred to Bucks County Detectives.
Drug Possession
While on patrol, officers initiated a traffic stop for a suspended registration. While speaking with the driver and through investigation, the driver was taken into custody for possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, processed and released.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Legacy Oaks Drive for a report of a one vehicle accident into a home. The vehicle operator accidentally accelerated, went over a curb and struck a residence. The driver was taken to St. Mary’s and the vehicle was towed from the scene. Northampton Township Zoning was on scene to evaluate the integrity of the home.

Public Drunkenness
Patrol responded to Bennett Place for a report of a male passed out in the road. Complainant states they observed a subject laying near the corner who was moaning. EMS arrived and assisted the subject onto a stretcher for evaluation. The subject was unable to provide their age or address. While talking with the subject their phone rang and police spoke with the subject’s father who provided an age and address. The subject was transported to St. Mary Medical Center for evaluation.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Old Bristol and Buck Roads for a report of two vehicle accident. Unit #1 was on Old Bristol Road when Unit #2 stopped, Unit #1 was unable to stop and struck the rear of Unit #2. Unit #1 sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Found Property
A Citi Bank Visa Card found at the Richboro Post Office was turned in. Patrol was unable to locate the owner as they had moved from their last known address. Citi Bank was called and was advised that card had already been canceled by the owners.
Check Fraud
Patrol responded to Tanyard Road for a report of check fraud at a business. The business took a check which then did not clear. The business owner attempted to contact the payor through several different methods and had no contact, including a certified letter, which was signed for by the payor. The business provided copies of all paperwork and a written statement. Case referred to detectives.
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Holland Road for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Holland Road behind Unit #2, when Unit #2 stopped and Unit #1 was unable to stop and struck Unit #2 in the rear. Unit #1 was towed from the scene; no injuries were reported.

Found Animals
Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of sheep walking on the railroad tracks. Patrol located five sheep roaming the area. Patrol, with the help of a good Samaritan began walking the sheep towards their home, when their owner arrived and helped. All of the sheep were returned to their home unharmed.
Criminal Mischief
Patrol responded Summer Drive for a report of vandalism. Complainant reports that one of their cameras was smacked down and then their vehicle was vandalized, damage was valued at $2,700.00.
Theft
Complainant came into headquarters to report a theft. Complainant states that they hired a contractor to do work at their home. The paid the individual, purchased all of the materials for the job and gave them to the contractor. The contractor did some of the work and then stopped, taking the materials with them. The Complainant has been unable to reach the contractor.
Hit & Run Accident
Complainant came into headquarters to report a hit and run in a parking lot on Bustleton. Complainant states they parked their vehicle at 9:55 a.m. and worked until 3:45 when they returned to their vehicle they noticed damage to the front bumper and scruff and scratch marks on the vehicle. Complainant stated their employer did not have cameras covering the parking lot.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of a one vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on 2nd Street Pike when it left the road, struck a sign, struck a Verizon pole, struck the guardrail and finally hitting another Verizon pole before it came to a stop. The vehicle was towed from the scene and driver did not report any injuries.
Suspicious Person
Complainant came into headquarters to report a suspicious person. Complainant states while their children and friends were playing outside they spotted a person wearing dark clothes run away from their house. Complainant states that a neighbor noticed a person hovering at a near by property, when the neighbor confronted the individual they claimed to be “just walking”. The area will be checked for video surveillance.
Warrant Arrest
While on patrol, officers stopped a vehicle with an individual known to them to have an outstanding arrest warrant out of Warminster Township. The individual was turned over to Warminster Police for handling of the arrest warrant.
