Dirt Bike

Patrol observed a dirt bike being operated in the area of Holland Road and Buck Road. Patrol attempted to stop the dirt bike; however, it fled the area. Lower Southampton Township Police located the dirt bike and rider within their jurisdiction. The operator was identified, and charges relating to this incident were filed.

Water Main Break

Patrol responded to the area of Bustleton Pike and Willow Drive for a reported water main break. Once on location, patrol observed the water main break and contacted the water authority. The roadway was closed until repairs were completed.

Assist

Patrol responded to the 1900 block of Sackettsford Road for a report of an individual stranded on a kayak. Once on location, the individual was located, and the fire department assisted in bringing the individual to safety.

Traffic Stop – DUI Arrest

Patrol initiated a traffic stop in the area of Elm Avenue and Wren Drive for a motor vehicle violation. Through investigation, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Motor Vehicle Theft

Patrol responded to a home in the Holland section of the township for a reported motor vehicle theft. Once on location, contact was made with the owner, and information was gathered. The vehicle was subsequently recovered. This case has been assigned to Detectives for further investigation.

Traffic Stop – DUI Arrest

Patrol initiated a traffic stop in the area of 2nd Street Pike and Daisy Lane for a motor vehicle violation. Through investigation, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

During this tour, patrols handled 6 alarm calls, 14 abandoned 911 calls, 33 medical emergencies, 12 bookings, 6 domestic disputes, 3 civil disputes, 94 traffic monitoring details, and 20 crime prevention details.
