Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the area of 2nd Street Pike and Upland Drive for a traffic accident. Unit #2 was stopped on 2nd Street Pike, waiting to turn onto Upland Drive, when it was struck from behind by Unit #1, which was traveling in the same direction.
E-Bike
Patrol observed a juvenile operating an e-bike on New Road. Contact was made with the juvenile, and a parent was contacted to pick up the e-bike.

Traffic Stop – DUI Arrest
Patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on 2nd Street Pike for a motor vehicle violation. Through investigation, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Fire
Patrol responded to the 1000blk of 2nd Street Pike for a brush fire. Once on location, patrol located the fire, and the Northampton Township Fire Department arrived on scene to extinguish it.

Attempted Theft
Patrol responded to a residence at approximately 1:59 AM for the report of an attempted theft. Once on location, contact was made with the complainant, who reported that their camera system showed individuals entering their property and attempting to open a vehicle door. The vehicle was locked, and the individuals left the area.

Road Hazard
Patrol responded to the area of Brookside Drive for the report of a downed tree blocking the roadway. Once in the area, the tree was located, and Northampton Township Public Works was contacted to respond. The tree was removed from the roadway.
DUI Arrest
Patrol responded to the area of Old Bristol Road for the report of an individual slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle. Once on location, contact was made with the driver, and through investigation, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Fraud
A complainant reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Bucks County Sheriff's Office. The caller told the complainant they had missed jury duty and owed money for a fine. Information was gathered, and this case was assigned to Detectives.
During this tour, patrol handled 34 alarm calls, 23 abandoned 911 calls, 37 medical emergencies, 7 bookings, 4 domestic disputes, 11 civil disputes, 56 traffic monitoring details, and 17 crime prevention details.
