Fraud
The complainant came to police headquarters to report receiving a bill in the mail from a cell phone company. The complainant initially disregarded the bill, believing it was a scam. The complainant later received phone calls and emails from collection agencies and discovered that an unknown person had used their personal information to open the account. Information was gathered.

Traffic Accident – Deer Involved
Patrol responded to the area of Elm Avenue and Cameron Drive for a reported traffic accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Elm Avenue when a deer entered the roadway, resulting in a crash. No tow was required.

Motor Vehicle Theft
Patrol responded to a home in the Richboro section of the township for a reported motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with the vehicle owner, who reported that their vehicle had been stolen. Information was gathered, and the case was assigned to Detectives.
Burglary
Patrol responded to a home in the Richboro section of the township for a reported burglary. Upon arrival, contact was made with the homeowner. It was determined that an unknown person entered a vehicle parked in the driveway and used the garage door opener inside the vehicle to gain access to the garage. A vehicle was also taken from the property. Information was gathered, and the case was assigned to Detectives.

Road Hazard
Patrol responded to the 1500 block of Holland Road for a reported downed tree. Upon arrival, patrol located a large tree branch obstructing the roadway. The Northampton Township Public Works Department responded and removed the branch from the roadway.

Vehicle Lockout
Patrol responded to Walnut Drive for a reported vehicle lockout. Upon arrival, contact was made with the vehicle owner. Using lockout tools, patrol was able to gain entry to the vehicle.

Solicitor Complaint
Patrol responded to the area of Sharon Drive for a solicitor complaint. Upon arrival, the area was checked and contact was made with an individual who was soliciting. It was determined that the individual had a valid solicitor permit. Information was gathered.

Found Property
Patrol responded to Northampton Municipal Park for a report of found property. Upon arrival, patrol took possession of the property, which was later returned to its owner.
During this tour, patrol handled 18 alarm calls, 16 abandoned 911 calls, 30 medical emergencies, 8 bookings, 5 domestic disputes, 5 civil disputes, 83 traffic monitoring details, and 24 crime prevention details.
