Fire
Patrol responded to Churchville Lane for a report of a shed fire. Upon arrival, patrol observed the reported incident. The Northampton Township Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the 300 block of Middle Holland Road for a traffic accident. Upon arrival, contact was made with the driver. Unit #1 was traveling on Middle Holland Road when an animal entered the roadway. Unit #1 swerved to avoid the animal and struck a curb.

Wires
Patrol responded to the 1300 block of Old Jacksonville Road for a report of a wire’s complaint. Upon arrival, patrol observed a tree that had fallen onto wires. The roadway was temporarily blocked until PECO arrived on scene and corrected the issue.

Traffic Accident
While on patrol, an officer came upon a crash that had just occurred on 2nd Street Pike near Bustleton Pike. Unit #1 was exiting a parking lot to travel northbound on 2nd Street Pike when it made contact with a vehicle traveling southbound on 2nd Street Pike. Tow was not required.

Fraud
The complainant responded to police headquarters to file a report regarding fraud. The complainant reported listing an item for sale on Facebook and receiving a message from an individual claiming interest and stating they would pay via PayPal. The complainant then reported receiving an email appearing to be from PayPal, contacting them, and later discovering their account had been accessed without authorization. Information was gathered, and the case was assigned to detectives.

Traffic Stop / DUI Arrest
Patrol responded to the area of 2nd Street Pike and Kings Lane for a report of a reckless driver. Upon arrival, the vehicle in question was observed and a traffic stop was initiated. Through investigation, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Traffic Stop / Warrant Arrest
Patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on 2nd Street Pike for an equipment violation. Through investigation, the driver was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant.

Traffic Stop / Drug Arrest
Patrol initiated a traffic stop on Buck Road and Holland Road for an equipment violation. During the traffic stop, drugs were located inside the vehicle, and the driver was taken into custody for drug-related offenses.

Assist Other PD
Patrol responded to the area of West Bristol Road and Chinquapin Road for a traffic accident. Upon arrival, it was determined the crash occurred in Upper Southampton, and patrol assisted as needed.

During this tour, patrol handled 17 alarm calls, 19 abandoned 911 calls, 36 medical emergencies, 7 bookings, 4 domestic disputes, 4 civil disputes, 78 traffic monitoring details, and 16 crime prevention details.
