Suspicious Vehicle
At 12:17 AM, patrol observed an occupied vehicle in a parking lot of a closed business in the 900 block of 2nd Street Pike. The individuals inside were identified, and everything appeared to be in order. They left the property without incident.
Fight
Patrol responded to the area of 295 Buck Road for a reported fight. Upon arrival, no active fighting was observed. The individuals involved were identified and declined to pursue the matter.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to the intersection of Newtown-Richboro Road and Spring Garden Mill for a reported traffic accident. Unit #1 was traveling westbound on Newtown-Richboro Road and approaching Spring Garden Mill when it struck the rear of Unit #2, which was slowing or stopped. This caused Unit #2 to then strike Unit #3, which was also slowing or stopped. Two vehicles caught fire, and the Northampton Township Fire Department responded to the scene. Towing was required.

Scam
A complainant came into the police station to report a scam. The complainant stated their computer froze, and a message appeared prompting them to call a provided phone number. The complainant contacted the number and spoke with an individual who claimed there was an issue with their computer and bank account. They were instructed to withdraw funds and deposit them into a Bitcoin machine. During the incident, the complainant realized it was a scam. Information was gathered, and the case has been assigned to Detectives.

Fire
Patrol responded to the Holland section of the township for a report of a possible house fire. Upon arrival, contact was made with a homeowner who was hosing down a tree. It was determined that a discarded cigarette may have caused the incident. The Northampton Township Fire Department also responded and extinguished the area.

Fraud
Patrol responded to a business in the Ivyland section of the township for a report of fraud. The business reported that a check mailed through USPS had been altered and deposited. Information was gathered, and the case has been assigned to Detectives.
Community Relations
This agency attended the Veterans Expo held in the township.

Fire
Patrol responded to the 1000 block of Holland Road for a brush fire. Upon arrival, a small area of mulch and a fence were on fire. The Northampton Township Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.

Traffic Stop / DUI Arrest
Patrol attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Buck Road however, the vehicle fled. The vehicle later crashed, and patrol made contact with the driver. Through investigation, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, as well as fleeing and eluding.
During this tour, patrol handled 19 alarm calls, 15 abandoned 911 calls, 35 medical emergencies, 8 bookings, 6 domestic disputes, 7 civil disputes, 73 traffic monitoring details, and 16 crime prevention details.
