Theft of Catalytic Converter-4/29/26 @0830-Morrisville High School reported that during the overnight hours on 4/28/26 at approximately 0330, a black male crawled under a parked van owned by the Morrisville High School, cut off the Catalytic Converter valued at approximately $1,500.
Fraud-05/01/26 @1530-The victim agreed to paint a house located in the unit block of W. Post Rd. for $9,850. The victim received a check from a customer for $6,750, which was deposited into her bank account. $2,500 was cleared immediately, and the balance was placed on a two-day hold. The entire check was eventually cleared, but the victim realized that her bank account showed a negative balance of $3,314. The victim believes the check was fraudulent.
Theft from Vehicles-05/04/26 @1725-Police responded to the 300 block of E. Green St. for a report of thefts of tools from two trucks parked in the driveway. The first truck was observed to have a shattered passenger side rear window, and numerous Milwaukee batteries and power tools were taken. The second vehicle had damage to the locking mechanism and was also rummaged through, and numerous Milwaukee tools were stolen. The estimated amount could pass $10,000, and both vehicles will need estimates of damage to the locks.
