Doylestown Township Police handled 974 incidents during the month of March 2026. There were 45 traffic accidents investigated this month. Police issued 100 traffic citations, 194 traffic warnings, and 5 non-traffic citations.
Assault:
On March 4th, 2026, a 20-year-old male was arrested for assault on a health-care employee following an incident at Doylestown Hospital.
Criminal Mischief:
On March 15th, 2026, a resident in the unit block of S. Shady Retreat Road suffered vandalism to their home after eggs were apparently stolen from a neighboring home.
On March 23rd, 2026, a resident on Steeplechase Drive discovered scratches and a dent on the passenger side of their car.
Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness:
On March 15th, 2026, a 45-year-old male was walking while intoxicated along Pebble Hill Road near Turk Road when he fell and a passerby called police.
On March 28th, 2026, Officers were called to Doylestown Hospital where three people (45/M, 45/F, 23/M) were cited for public drunkenness.
On March 28th, 2026, a 23-year-old male was intoxicated, walking, yelling, and causing alarm in and around the Doylestown Station neighborhood in the early morning hours.
Driving Under the Influence:
On March 23rd, 2026, a 26-year-old female was arrested for DUI after officers responded to a single vehicle car accident on Lower State Road near Wisteria Lane.
Fraud:
There were eleven (11) fraud reports in March 2026. The scammers are still cold calling folks pretending to be law enforcement or a relative who needs bail money. If in doubt,

Narcotics:
On March 16th, 2026, a 32-year-old male was cited during a traffic stop where he had suspected marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle.
All Other:
There were seven (7) E-Bike related calls in March 2026. The ages of the riders ranged from 10 years old to 18 years old. Parents were educated, 1 citation was issued.
On March 4th, 2026, a 61-year-old male was arrested for Defiant Trespass and related offenses at Doylestown Hospital after he refused to leave the property.
