ARRESTS
Underage Drinking Arrests – July 4, 2020, 7:33 PM, 100 block of E. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Andrew Doyle, M/20, of Doylestown, PA; Nicholas Pelton, M/20, of Doylestown, PA; Brett Shumock, M/20, of Warrington, PA; and, Jacob Swoyer, M/20, of Furlong, PA, were arrested for the above offense after police responded to a noise complaint and found underage persons in possession of alcoholic beverages. Citations have been filed.
Disorderly Conduct Arrest – July 5, 2020, 1:40 AM, tens block of N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - Sean McGovern, M/21, of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police observed McGovern urinating in public. A Citation has been filed.
Public Drunkenness Arrest – July 6, 2020, 7:43 PM, 480 N. Main Street (Acme Markets), Doylestown Borough – Christine McBrearty, F/41, of New Britain, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police responded to report of an intoxicated person. McBrearty presented with a strong odor of alcoholic beverage, staggering gait, and slurred speech. A Citation has been filed.
Public Drunkenness, July 11, 2020, 12:15 AM, tens block of N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - Simon Adkins, M/36, of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police were flagged down to assist a male on the ground unable to get up. Police rendered aid and Adkins was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical attention. A Citation has been filed.
Public Drunkenness Arrest – July 11, 2020, 12:21 AM, 200 block N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - Matthew Brady, M/24, of Hatfield, PA, was arrested for the above offense following police response for report of an intoxicated male knocking loudly on front door of a residence. Upon arrival, police located Brady sleeping on a picnic table in the rear of the residence. Brady presented with a strong odor of alcoholic beverage. A Citation has been filed.
Public Drunkenness Arrest – July 11, 2020, 12:42 AM, 339 S. Main Street (Wawa), Doylestown Borough - Noah Mokrynchuk, M/22, of Warrington, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police observed Mokrynchuk laying on the sidewalk in front of Wawa. Mokrynchuk presented with red, glassy eyes, slurred speech, and an odor of alcohol. A Citation has been filed.
Retail Theft, Receiving Stolen Property Arrest – July 11, 2020, 6:07 PM, 160 S. Main Street (CVS), Doylestown Borough – Marcie Lynn Sautner, F/25, of Quakertown, PA, was arrested for the above offenses following police response to a theft in progress at CVS Pharmacy. Sautner placed makeup products, Q-tips, Monster energy drink and sparkling water into a large bag and left the store without paying for the items. Stolen items total approximately $124. Sautner was arraigned, bail set at 10% of $10,000 secured and remanded to Bucks County Prison.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
CRIME AND INCIDENTS
Theft, July 4, 2020, 136 E. Butler Avenue (Nostalgia Hotel), Chalfont Borough - Unknown person, described as black male with a white shirt, stole seven candles and candle holders, soaps, lotions, Tylenol, hair gel, crazy glue, napkin holders, and 100 cloth hand towels. Suspect was also observed attempting to carry three decorative trees from the property.
Criminal Mischief, July 10, 2020, tens block of S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole condensation lines from an air conditioning unit sometime between July 8 at 3:00PM and July 9, 2020 at 9:30 AM. As a result of removal of these lines, interior wall water damage was incurred destroying numerous boxes containing items. Damage is estimated at approximately $600.
