ARRESTS
DUI Arrest, 1:33 am, January 25, 2020, Union Street and Shewell Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Ryan Murdoch, M/25 of Southampton, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police observed Murdoch’s vehicle hit a curb and proceed the wrong way down a one way street. Murdoch presented with glassy eyes, slurred speech and an odor of alcohol. Field Sobriety Tests and PBT was administered followed by blood draw at Doylestown Hospital. A Criminal Complaint was filed.
Public Drunkeness Arrest, 01:56 am, January 25, 2020, 37, N. Main Street (MOM’s), Doylestown Borough – Matthew William Smith, M/30, Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense when officers observed Smith having difficulty standing. Smith presented with an odor of alcohol and slurred speech. A citation has been filed.
Disorderly Conduct Arrest, 01:12 am, January 26, 2020, 15 S. Main Street (Finny’s Grotto), Doylestown Borough – Taylor Colligan, F/22 of Warrington, PA, was charged with the above offense when officers observed Colligan striking a male in the head. A Citation has been filed.
Disorderly Conduct Arrest, 2:14 pm, January 27, 2020, 561 N. Main Street (McDonalds), Doylestown Borough – Kiara Loretta Wimbush, F/20, Philadelphia, PA, was charged with the above offense when officers were dispatched to a business for report that Wimbush had caused a scene and thrown things upon being fired. A citation has been filed.
DUI Arrest, 12:25 am, January 28, 2020, W. Butler and Tamenend Avenues, New Britain Borough – Arnold Gooch, M/43, Pipersville, PA, was arrested for the above offense when an officer conducted a traffic stop after Gooche’s vehicle swerved off the roadway. Gooch presented with red glassy and bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol. Gooch was non-compliant when asked to perfomr a field sobriety test and refused blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Public Drunkeness Arrest, 5:50 pm, January 31, 2020, S. Main Street and E. Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Raymond Barr, M/66, Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense when officers were dispatched for a male who had fallen in the street and hit his head. Barr presented visibly intoxicated with a strong odor of alcohol. Barr was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical evaluation. A citation has been filed.
Public Drunkeness Arrest, 12:47 am, February 1, 2020, Lantern Drive and Chandler Court, Doylestown Borough – Ryan Hettler, M/32, Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense when officers were alerted to a male subject who appeared to be passed out. Hettler presented with an odor of alcohol, and bloodshot and glassy eyes. A PBT was administered with an arrestable reading. A Citaton has been filed.
DUI Arrest, 3:48 pm, February 1, 403 S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Kevin David McCafferty, M/73 of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above offense following police response for hitting a parked vehicle. McCafferty presented with an odor of alcohol and marijuana. Field Sobriety tests were failed and subsequent blood draw at Doylestown Hospital. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
DUI Arrest, 2:14 am, February 2, 2020, Taylor Avenue and S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Sean Pfeiffer, M/32, Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above offense when officers responded to the area for a noise complaint and observed Pfeiffer’s vehicle revving its engine and proceed in an unsafe manner. A stop was conducted and Pfeiffer presented with slurred speech, bloodshot and glassy eyes, and disheveled clothing. Field sobriety tests were administered and failed; subsequently taken for blood draw at Doylestown Hospital. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Possession of Marijuana, Narcotic Equipment Arrest, 10:46pm, February 5, 2020, 301 N. Main Street, Chalfont Borough – James Thomas Corrigan, M/20 of Hatfield, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop for non-functioning registration plate light. Corrigan presented with an odor of marijuana and green vegetable matter on his lap. Upon consented search, a bag of marijuana and vape cartridge allegedly containing THC oil was found. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
CRIMES & INCIDENTS
Criminal Mischief, 6:43 pm, January 24, 2020, 276 S. Main Street (Dunkin’ Donuts), Doylestown Borough – Unknown juvenile persons entered the bathroom in the store, later exiting the business. After their departure, damage to the bathroom was found to the piping.
Criminal Mischief, 12:24pm, January 29, 2020, 200 Town Center (Giant), New Britain Borough – Unknown person(s) marked graffiti on the back of the building. Markings read F.N.H., AR, and expletive word followed by the number 12.
Theft from Vehicle, 12:07 pm, January 31, 2020, Pine and State Streets, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole an IPad Nano, valued at approximately $50, from an unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours.
Property Damage, 7:00 am, February 4, 2020, Swamp Road and North Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) damaged the Welcome to Doylestown sign (cost to repair $200-300), damage date is unknown.
