On October 1, 2020 the Rolling Hills United Methodist Church reported an unknown unauthorized person entered their kitchen and cooked a turkey that was in the food pantry.

On October 2, 2020 a non-resident was arrested for DUI resulting from a traffic stop for several equipment violations and a suspended vehicle registration.

On October 4, 2020 a non-resident was arrested on a parole violation bench warrant resulting from a traffic stop for a suspended driver’s license.

On October 6, 2020 a non-resident was arrested for DUI resulting from a traffic stop after they parked their vehicle in the middle of the roadway blocking the lanes of travel.
Threats/Domestic Incident
On October 6, 2020 a non-resident was arrested on domestic violence charges stemming from a continuing course of threats, stalking, and harassment towards the victim.
Identify Theft
On October 7, 2020 a resident was a victim of identity theft after receiving a fraudulent phone call from an unknown person claiming to be from the US Marshals Service. This person claimed to have found their social security card inside a vehicle in New Mexico which also contained a large amount of narcotics. This person requested the victim’s social security number to verify that it was their card.
Fraud
On October 7, 2020, a resident was victim of fraud after an unknown person obtained a credit card in the victim name. Fraudulent purchases were made totaling about $2,400.
