On Saturday 8 July 2023 the Warminster Police and Warminster Animal Control Officer were notified of numerous dead birds around feeding stations located by the old NADC tower in Warminster Community Park along Bristol Road. The ACO advised that it appears that the feeding stations contained a poison to kill the birds and that they were most likely placed in the early morning hours of 7/8/23. Attached photos of the feeding stations that were removed from WCP. This suspected poison is dangerous to both humans and animals. Further, the public is warned that should you encounter a similar feeders or bait please do not handle them and contact Warminster Police using 911 to ensure proper removal. This investigation is being worked in conjunction with Warminster Police, Warminster Animal Control and Pennsylvania SPCA.
