Warminster Township Police Dept -Arrests and Notable Incidents Blotter: December 2024
WT-24-24-14591 -Officers responded to Kohl's for a report of a retail theft in progress. A 70-year-old female had passed all points of sale and exited the store. Officers stopped her vehicle in the parking lot of Ashley Furniture. The stolen items were recovered in her vehicle. The female was arrested and transported back to headquarters. The female was cited for Retail Theft and transported back to her vehicle.
WT-24-14583 -Officers were called to a house on Norristown Road, a male was walking around the house and opening car doors. It was determined the 28-year-old male lived down the street and was too intoxicated to make it home. Officers walked the male home and cited him for Public Drunkenness.
WT-24-14584 -While on routine patrol an Officer noticed a vehicle on Street Road, that was stopping in traffic and had disregarded a red light. Upon stopping the car, it was determined that the driver may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The Officer conducted field sobriety tests which the 37-year-old male failed. The male was transported back to headquarters for a blood draw. The male was processed and released to a family member. Upon blood alcohol results the male will be charged with DUI and numerous traffic violations.
WT-24-12003 - An Officer was dispatched to Giant for a report of a Retail Theft that occurred earlier in the day. The suspect a 54-year-old female returned to Giant on another date and was again suspected of Retail Theft. The female will be charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. The female was arraigned and held with $15,000 unsecured bail.
WT-24-14743 - An Officer responded to Headquarters for a female who wanted to report a violation of a Protection from Abuse order. The female advised that her 49-year-old ex-boyfriend had contacted her through social media. The male was charged with Criminal Contempt and held on $25,000 unsecured bail.
WT-24-14846 - While on routine patrol near Evergreen and Beech streets, an Officer saw a vehicle with a broken taillight. Upon stopping the vehicle, the Officer determined that the Operator may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The vehicle Operator was a 43-year-old male. The male agreed to Field Sobriety tests which he failed and was transported back to Headquarters for a blood draw. Pending blood alcohol results the 43-year-old male will be charged with DUI, Careless Driving, General lighting requirements, and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.
WT-24-12228 - On patrol near York Road and Tulip Roads an Officer noticed a vehicle that was having difficulty maintaining its lane of travel. The Officer stopped the vehicle and noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The 26-year-old male driver stated he had smoked earlier and had a small amount in his possession. Pending drug testing results, the male will be charged with Possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use.
WT-24-15006 - Police responded to a call that a man was sleeping in a tent on Archbishop Woods baseball field. The Officers had previously spoken to the 38-year-old male and advised him he was trespassing. The male was cited and advised that if he returned, he would be arrested.
WT-24-15096 - Police responded to a vehicle accident at York and Juniper Roads, when Officers arrived a female driver advised that the other vehicle had it hers. Upon speaking to the other driver, a 44-year-old male, it was determined that he may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The male had refused field sobriety tests and portable breath testing. The male was then placed under arrest.
WT-24-14155 - The Principal of Log College Middle School phoned Bucks County Radio Room to have an Officer respond to the school to take a report. The incident happened at a bus stop, between 3 students. A 14-year-old male slapped another student, and another student recorded it on his cell phone. Two 14-year-old males will be cited for Harassment and Physical Contact.
WT-24-15290 - Officers were called to the Keystone Freedom Academy for two students fighting. In the separation of the student numerous staff were injured and property was damaged. A 14-year-old female was arrested and transported to Edison Juvenile Detention Center. She will be charged with Aggravated Assault on a School Employee.
WT-24-15332 - An Officer was dispatched to 433 W. Street Road for a report of Trespassing. When Officers arrived the 36-year-old male had fled. The male was issued a citation and advised that he was not allowed on the property, and if he returned, he would be arrested.
WT-24-15359 - Officers were dispatched to Rosewood Court Apartments for a report of a male screaming. It was later determined that a 29-year-old male was arguing with his mother. He had threatened to kill her and himself. The male was arrested and transported back to headquarters to be processed. The male was charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Possessing an Instrument of Crime, Terroristic Threats, Unlawful Restraint, and Threats. The male was arraigned before Judge Chris O'Neill and held on 10% of $150,000 bail. The male was transported to Bucks County Prison without incident.
WT-24-15477 - Officers responded to Walmart for a report of a retail theft in progress. Dispatch advised that the male left the store and was headed towards Jacksonville Road. A description was given, and an Officer stopped the vehicle. A 19-year-old male was issued a citation, and a counterfeit Temporary tag was confiscated.
WT-24-15488 - On routine patrol, an Officer observed a patron of Gardenia Hookah Bar walk to the side of the building and begin urinating. The 31-year-old male will be issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct and cited via the mail.
WT-24-14539 - Officers were dispatched to the Meadow Glen area of the Township for a vehicle that had been parked and running with the headlights on for about an hour. When Officer arrived a 51-year-old male was asleep in the driver's seat. His wife was awake and advised they were at a friend's house celebrating and pulled over to sleep. The male and his 52-year-old wife were cited for Public Drunkenness and transported back to headquarters to wait for a taxi to transport them home.
WT-24-11821 - Officers were dispatched to Wawa for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival Officers spoke to a woman who was visibly impaired by drugs or alcohol. Central Bucks EMS was called to respond, and the 24-year-old woman was taken to Doylestown Hospital for further evaluation. Pending toxicology reports, the woman will be charged with Driving Under the Influence.
WT-24-15568 - A Warminster Officer and Detective responded to Doylestown Hospital for a report of a Victim in the Emergency Room who had a gunshot wound. After speaking with the Victim, he relayed a domestic had occurred between him and his girlfriend. The 19-year-old female shot him in the leg. The incident happened in Warminster Heights and Officers responded there to arrest the female. She was transported back to Headquarters and arraigned before Judge Peranteau and held on bail. She was then transported to Bucks County Prison.
WT-24-15576 - Officers were dispatched to Aspen Grove Apartments for a report of a disorderly male in the parking lot. A 37-year-old male was cited for Public Drunkenness and Officers stood by while the male waited for an Uber to pick him up.
WT-24-15666 - Police responded to Rosewood Court Apartments for a report of a stabbing. The victim advised she had been stabbed in the arm by her 46-year-old mother. The Victim was transported to Holy Redeemer Hospital. The Victim's mother was taken into custody and was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She was arraigned by Judge Chris O'Neill and Bail was set at 10% of $20,000.00. She was transported to Bucks County Prison.
WT-24-15675 - Officers were dispatched to 1015 Louis Drive for a report of a domestic disturbance between a father and son. When Police arrived, the father advised that he and his son were arguing, and his son threw him in the snow. The 59-Year-old male will be charged with Harassment and Disorderly Conduct.
WT-24-15696 - An Officer responded to the area of Mearns and Ivyland Roads for a report of a vehicle accident. The 75-year-old male agreed to Field Sobriety tests and failed. The male agreed to a blood draw and pending those results will be changed with DUI. The male was released to his wife.
WT-24-15704 - Police responded to Aspen Grove Apartments for a report of a Domestic Dispute in the parking lot. The 42-year-old male was charged with Simple Assault he was arraigned before Judge Petrucci and bail was set at 10% of $10,000. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.
WT-24-15799 - Officers were dispatched to Rosewood Court Apartments for a report of a person Trespassing. When Officers arrived, they spoke to a 38-year-old male who was in a dumpster retrieving his belongings that had been thrown in there following his eviction. Officers advised him that he had been told numerous times that he is not allowed on the property. He was arrested for Defiant Trespass and transported back to headquarters for processing.
WT-24-15806 - Officers were dispatched to Weis Food Market for a report of a retail theft in progress. The subject had been detained in the store Manager's office. The 65-year-old woman will be charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. The female was arraigned, and bail was set at $2,500 unsecured.
