Have you ever wondered how the local court system works?  Why your Police Department has so many patrol cars?  What happens when you call 911?

This is your opportunity to learn the inside scoop on how a Police Department operates from the Officers themselves.

The Township of Spring, West Reading and Wyomissing Police Departments are once again holding a joint Citizen's Police Academy for the residents of any of the three municipalities who are over 18 years of age and have no criminal record.  There is no cost for the Academy which will be held every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 9pm.

If you are interested in enrolling into the Academy, please stop by one of the police departments to pick up an application or download the attached application and return it to one of the departments.  All applications must be submitted by September 22, 2026.
