The Borough of West Reading is proud to host the annual "Art on the Avenue" festival this Saturday, June 20th, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

The festival will take place on Penn Avenue from 4th Avenue to 8th Avenue, including the 00 blocks of North and South 6th and 7th Avenues, as well as Tulpehocken Avenue from Penn Avenue to Court Street.

Important: Please note that parking restrictions will be in place for the festival. Temporary "No Parking" signs have been posted at least 24-48 hours in advance in the restricted areas. Parking restrictions will begin at 7:00 am, and vehicles parked in the restricted areas will be subject to ticketing and towing starting at that time.

The festival promises to be a fun-filled event for all ages, featuring music, food, activities, and art by many local artists. Local businesses will also be participating, offering a wide variety of items for sale. The West Reading Police Department will have a tent set up near the intersection of South 6th Avenue on Penn Avenue, so be sure to stop by and say hello!

Important notes for vendors and businesses:

• Please take note of the chalk markings on the street, which will designate the boundaries of your booths. These markings are in place to ensure emergency vehicles have clearance to travel in the middle of Penn Avenue.
• Vendors, please be aware of your designated entry point for set-up in the morning, either North 7th Avenue and Court Street or Court Street at North 4th Avenue. You will be denied access at any other location once the barricades are in place.
