After more than 25 years of dedicated service to the West Reading Police Department and the Borough, we are proud to announce the retirement of Sergeant Wayne Holben.

Throughout his career, Sgt. Holben played a pivotal role in strengthening the partnership between our department and the community. His leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to public safety have been a cornerstone of our success. The positive impact he has made—both within the department and across the borough—will be felt for years to come.

While we will miss his presence here in West Reading, we are excited to congratulate Sgt. Holben on his appointment as the new Chief of Police for the Northern Berks Regional Police Department We know he will continue to serve with the same professionalism and dedication that defined his career with us.
