On December 22, 2025, Spring Township Police were dispatched to Target for a retail theft that had just occurred.
It was reported to police that at approximately 1732 hours, a male entered the store pushing a cart, followed by a female a few steps behind him. The male and female were in the store for approximately an hour, filling the cart up with merchandise. They proceeded to the customer service and conducted a no-receipt return, using one (1) of the items that they placed in the cart during the approximate hour of shopping. The item was a Lankybox Big Foxy Mystery Box valued at $54.99. To complete the no-receipt return, proof of identification must be provided. The female provided her Pennsylvania Driver's License. Target provided the female with a gift card of $40.80 for the return. The female and male then told the Executive Team Leader of Asset Protection that another customer was following them around and making comments. As Asset Protection began to look for the alleged actor, both individuals left the store with the cart filled with merchandise. They passed all points of sale and did not pay for any item. They placed the items in a white Jetta and left Broadcasting Square.
The total loss for the store was $660.88. After an investigation, Michael URBANSKI was charged with Retail Theft, Conspiracy, and Receiving Stolen Property.
